The Aftermath of the Fire

For us, life will never be the same. We have learned so much from this experience, things that have changed us in our daily life. We look at others differently, and we look at our God differently. Jesus is much bigger to us now, for we have seen the salvation He can bring!

We have heard of twelve other instances, where a believer used those scriptures (John 15:7-8, John 16:23-24, and Psalm 91) to make a claim upon their house, and their house was also miraculously saved! Hallelujah! It was wonderful to watch their face as they testified to me about it. The Holy Spirit’s light shone forth from their face till it seemed as if they glowed.

I also discovered that having cursed items in your home did not remove the legal right to use those scriptures to save the home! (This is a big thing for those of my readers who are stuck living with other unbelievers or pagans!) I know that my believing neighbor has cursed items in her home, for I have seen them. Her and her children are believers, while her husband is not yet a believer. Sadly, their lives testify to the cursed items being there, for great have been the troubles upon those that lived in that home!

That is one thing I have witnessed through this fire. Those who practice deliverance have a peaceful and prosperous life. Those who do not believe in such things as demons affecting Christians, or those who simply do not practice deliverance for themselves, have a life filled with problems.

I had also wondered what it would be like, to stay on land that was not blessed. When we go to stay at a hotel, we bless it with blessed oil, for we know we have the legal jurisdiction over it due to the paying of rent for its use. But we didn’t have that while staying with others during the evacuation. Both homes that we stayed in, were not blessed homes. The Jehovah’s witness home was actually under a curse besides, for the woman of the house has had it blessed by the elders of that cult. I found that much time was spent in spiritual warfare; at the JW house, it was all I could do just to keep up with the attacks. After that incident with the fire demon nightmare and that playing card, (at the unbeliever’s house,) I went out and purchased some olive oil, and then blessed it for our use. I then blessed the beds we used, for the owners of both places stated that we could sleep there. I looked at it as a matter of a gift that was being given to us, and in that case, I hoped that the spiritual laws extended to such gifts from the owner.  It must have worked, for our sleep was much better after blessing the beds.

The Jehovah’s Witnesses contacted us, several weeks after they had kicked us out of their home, saying that they were sad at how things turned out, and that they wanted to get together with us for dinner. The Lord pointed out to me, that this was not an actual apology, (in essence, they were saying that they were sad that I had acted the way I did,) and besides it was the man who initiated the email, and not the woman herself. I found out from her son, that she still felt she was in the right and had done no wrong, and that the father was in agreeance with her. My husband and I prayed to the Lord and asked Him what we should do, and He told us to have nothing further to do with them. He gave me this piece of scripture as His reasoning: “Reject him that is an heretic, after once or twice admonition, Knowing that he that is such, is perverted, and sinneth, being damned of his own self.” (Titus 3:10-11, GNV) I thought to give them another chance, but the Lord reminded me that she had many chances over those two days, as I answered her questions with the scriptures, and that even my son, who is friends with her son, also got kicked out from her home before, because he was trying to answer her questions about hell. So they have had their two chances already. I need not do any more. The Lord told me that he does not want us to go out and dine with a bunch of demons, and that this is in essence what we would be doing if we got together with them. My heart has ached over this, for I hate to think of them being cut off from Jesus.

It has also been sad to see a man that I had hopes for, turn away from Christ yet again. He was doing landscaping for us at the time of the fire. I made the claim to him that the Lord Jesus would save our home from the fire, just moments before evacuating. When he seen that it was spared, he put it all down to luck. This man has had such bad luck, always getting ill in some way, or his kids being in accidents, that I have told him that he either needs a new profession or a new God. He laughed and told me he just needs to be able to hire a bunch of workers that he can order around and everything would be fine. He has yet to understand. I pray that he will come to see that what he really needs is Jesus.

I find myself wanting to go back to those believers who have lost their homes, and testify to them about the scriptures that they could have used to save their homes, so it won’t happen to them again. Yet one of my boys pointed out to me, that they would then feel like it was their fault that their house burnt down. And I can see his point. No one likes to find out that they could have saved their home if they had just used that piece of scripture and believed. So for now, I leave it be. But there may come a time when I might be called to testify to them about it. I pray that if and when that time comes, I will be courageous enough to do it. Hosea 4:6 says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” Apparently their homes can be destroyed too.

The family who’s son called mine to warn us about the fire in the first place, and who ended up losing their home, are cessationists; they believe that speaking in tongues, casting out demons, and healing all died off with the original apostles. We testified to them, that we claimed that piece of scripture and that is why our house was saved. They frowned, but said nothing. I can only pray that the seed takes root in fertile ground. The Lord had told us not to give them any money, and I am glad that we did not, for their insurance is paying them extremely well, though they are having quite a fight with their insurance to get the money. We got a new couch, and we had planned to throw out the old one in the dump, but they asked us for it instead. When I asked the Lord if I could give it to them, He responded with such contempt that it startled me. He said “They can have your garbage!” When I asked Him why He was so angry, He told me that He longs to give them the best, but they insist on relying on man (their church,) and the government, instead of relying on HIM. He feels slighted over their choice to ignore Him. They could have so much more, but they refuse His help and His gifts.

During the middle of the night, several weeks after we had returned, I awoke to the smell of fire. Panic then hit me in the chest so hard, that for a moment I was left breathless. Satan kept trying to convince me that I should get up and go out to see if the fire was close to our house. He told me that it was only luck that saved our house in the last fire, and it would not be saved in this one. At this absurdity the spell was broken, and I laughed out loud and told him that there was no way it was just luck. I then cast him out and claimed in Jesus name that no fire would ever even get close to our house again. I then contentedly fell back asleep.

I have really appreciated the prayers of the believers out there, said on my and my family’s behalf; I could feel them strengthening us as we went through this disaster. May the Lord Jesus Christ return unto you ten times the blessings that you have asked for me!

There is a favorite piece of scripture that I’d like to share with you, that I often like to say during my prayer time. “Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.” (Proverbs 3:25-26 KJV) Amen!

A Jehovah’s Witness

I met a nice lady in a clothing store the other day. And of course, we got to talking about God.

She told me she was a Jehovah’s witness.

She asked me about my denomination, and I told her that I had none, and was simply a believer in Jesus Christ.

We discovered that neither of us celebrated the usual pagan holidays like Christmas and Easter, and we even agreed that a person’s birthday should be marked differently than how the world celebrates it.

This made sense to me, for there was not the usual worldly demons attached to her, that were found on many of the people.

She shared with me, how her denomination is so persecuted and hated, and of the many fallacies that are out there in the world concerning her religion.

I was surprised to discover, that they spend great time just studying and memorizing all of the scriptures. (I had thought that they did not use as much of the scriptures as they do, but relied on other outside teachings instead.)

I was also surprised to discover that her religion was not one that taught of hard male dominance within a marriage, but one that believed that the woman should respect her husband, and the man should love his wife as he does his own body. No firm patriarchal dominance was taught, as can be found within other sects of Christianity.

I shared with her, some of the things I have been learning these past few years about demons, and how the Lord Jesus Christ gave us the power to cast them out in His name. “It completely changed my life,” I told her. “Before, when I was not aware of them, my life was such a mess! Constant fighting with my husband and my children, always seeming to have bad things happening to me and my family, from financial things to health issues. But now that I have been casting them out, all those problems are no more!”

Then I asked her, if their denomination believed in casting out demons in Jesus name.

“Oh we believe that there are such things as demons, we really do! We know that they can affect a person’s life no small amount!”

“Yes,” I said, “but do YOU cast them out in Jesus name?”

Something in her expression changed then, and she became more wary. “We believe that only some people have been given that gift.”

(Evidently, she believed she had not been one of those that had been given such a gift.)

I tried to tell her that all believers had been given this gift, but she did not believe it. “Besides,” She said, “I wouldn’t even know how to cast one out by myself.”

“Oh that’s easy,” I replied. “You simply say out loud, ‘Demon, I cast you out in the name of Jesus’.”

I told her then, that I could not sense the usual demons on her, which is why I had started talking to her. This puzzled me now, for if she did not cast them out in Jesus name, why is it that she did not have so many that they could easily be sensed?

It was then that I discovered that they read many scriptures out loud on a daily basis. That would be enough to at least cripple and discourage many demons from hanging around her, for my kids have well described to me what happens to demons when scripture is read out loud in their presence. They cringe as if in great pain, and crumble up into a little ball.

But still, they do not necessarily leave. Only casting them out in Jesus name will do that.

She asked me if I had ever been to one of their halls, and I told her no, but that one of my boys had gone one time with a friend during Passover.

She smiled, pleased with my answer. “And what did he think of it?”

I inwardly cringed. How could I tell her without causing her pain? But I also knew I could not lie or skirt around what he had found. So I simply came out and told her.

“He witnessed huge demons hanging over the leaders. They were attached to them.”

I expected a denial from her, for I knew that I had revealed a hurtful truth about her false religion. But what she said next just floored me.

Her eyes grew huge with excitement, and she said, “I knew it! I knew I was in the right religion!”

This time it was my own eyes that grew huge. I was shocked! Never had I suspected that she would respond with such an assertion!

“Well,” I said to her, still flabbergasted, “that doesn’t necessarily mean that you are in the right religion!”

“Well of course it does!” she replied. “It says so right in scripture! God’s Word tells us that His children will be persecuted and attacked by satan!”

“But we’re not supposed to keep the demons,” I replied.

She frowned. “Well, no, of course not,” she said.

I then explained to her, that the influx of demons in the churches in our area, (she knew at that point that I lived far out into the country,) was why we did not go to any of them on a regular basis.

“Well,” she responded, “no church is perfect. They are filled with imperfect people.”

“But they don’t have to keep their demons,” I answered.

I then told her that none of the churches within an hour’s drive from our home believed in casting out demons, and that this was why those churches were filled with them. I then told her of one church that I once knew of where we used to live, that did not have any in it, and that it was because they were quite proactive in casting any out, before, during, and after their services.

We were then interrupted by the sales person, so our conversation ended, and we said our goodbye’s.

It saddened me, to watch her depart, still thinking that she herself could not cast out a demon.

But at least now she knows how to, if she should ever change her mind…

* * * *

Later on that night, I went and did some research on the religion known as Jehovah’s Witness. It saddened me, to learn what I did. There are some serious problems in  their teachings. They have their own version of the bible where they changed certain words and passages so that they back up these teachings. Those that made the changes had no scholarly background, and could not even translate the relevant ancient languages needed for the few passages they changed. This woman had been a Christian for all of her life, and she had been searching for a church that kept God’s ways but could not find one. They all celebrated the pagan holidays. Then she found Jehovah’s Witness. They did not celebrate such things, and because of this, she told me she joined up with them.  All the other differences between Christianity and Jehovah’s Witness, she summed up as simply ‘not being perfect’. I looked at her while we were talking and realized, she had settled for second best.

Some other things noted about this religion:

They do not believe that unbelievers go to hell when they die. They do not believe that humans have a soul that lives on after the physical death.

“While the Jehovah Witnesses believe that Jesus lived and died, they do not believe everything that he claims about himself. They do not believe that he is God but has been created by God. He is still very important to God but not in essence God. They believe that he is in fact the archangel Gabriel become man. And while they believed he dies and paid a ransom for the sins of humanity, they do not believe that he rose again bodily but spiritually and materialized a new body in order to appear before his disciples.” http://christianity.net.au/questions/how_do_christians_and_jehovas_witness_differ

They believe that Jesus has already returned in spirit form, in 1914.

They believe that only 144,000 will be up in heaven. The rest will remain on earth.

There is no grace for them as we know it. They work to earn their salvation, by doing ‘kingdom publishing ‘ work.

“They don’t have a personal relationship with Christ (who they say is not God), but rather they observe a system of law and works…They also consider any salute to a flag as worship of that flag, and therefore prohibited. They don’t vote, hold public office or serve in the military.”  http://www.chick.com/bc/1985/jehovahswitness.asp

“The Witnesses are taught that the world is under the devil’s control. To leave the organization is to fall under Satan’s control…Because the Witnesses are taught that Armageddon could arrive at any moment, he/she would be destroyed at Armageddon if they were to leave. The Witnesses believe that the Watchtower organization is God’s “Ark of Salvation.” (That sounds like something a cult would say to keep you with them!)   http://www.chick.com/information/religions/jw/rescue.asp

Their history is filled with false prophecies. Their leaders also claim to speak for God.
“Founder Charles Taze Russell made several early predictions and pronouncements such as the start of the millennium in 1872, that Jesus actually came in 1874, and that 1914 would see, “The end of a war that would destroy the kingdoms of this world and fully establish the Kingdom of God.” When it became obvious that the prophecies had failed, the dates were revised only to have them fail again. Heinze elaborates on the many failed predictions including the building of a mansion in 1929 in San Diego, California for “faithful men of old” who were soon to be resurrected to take charge of the earth. The house eventually became an embarrassing monument to their failed prophecy so it was sold in 1948. Heinze points out that, since these failed prophecies were based on erroneous interpretations of Bible, how can one trust the Watchtower to rightly divide the Scriptures when it comes to their doctrine?”   http://www.chick.com/bc/2000/failedprophecies.asp

They also do not believe in blood transfusions. However, I must say in their defense, our family can see some truth in this particular belief. We have seen that the demons just love the blood of an unbeliever that has been spilled. They congregate around it, increase their numbers with it, and draw strength from it. So, after seeing that, no one in our family would ever knowingly accept the blood of an unbeliever into their veins. A believer’s blood, yes. An unbeliever’s, no.

Jeremiah 14:14 (KJV) “Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.”

Matthew 7:15, 20-23 (KJV) “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves…Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Acts 20:29-31 (KJV) “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.”

John 20:24-29 (KJV) “But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

John 10:28 (KJV) “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

Luke 16:19- 31 (KJV) “There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”

How To Remove Demons From Ourselves And Others

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.” (Mark 16:17-19, KJV)

This post has been a long time in coming. For a while it seemed that forces conspired to get me to not write it. When I finally hunkered down into the spiritual warfare battle that I realized this must be, I was then able to fight them off and finish this post.

The battle was such, that I soon realized that there must be deep truths within in it, that satan does not want shared with others, for he fought so underhandedly and determinedly. At one point I even thought of giving up the blog. But the Lord came forth and greatly encouraged me and strengthened me, henceforth this post. I feel like my whole being is shouting “praise to You Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!”

Many are those who contact me, asking for help in being freed from demons. Most are real requests, while a few others are hidden attacks and jabs from the evil one. When I get done writing this post, I plan to add a page on this blog just on deliverance, so that all who really hunger for spiritual freedom, can access it day or night, and will not have to wait for my email response. I do not minister to people from this blog in person, as that would break my promises to my family to keep this blog anonymous. If you really feel the need to have deliverance ministered to you by another, ask the Holy Spirit for guidance, and trust that the Holy Spirit will lead you to where you need to be.

Deliverance is a way of life. It is not something done just once or for one thing. As the Lord just recently reminded me, it is a constant concerted effort to fight the good fight, and to retain one’s freedom from demonic harassment. BUT WITH JESUS IT CAN BE DONE!

Deliverance is for believers only:

http://www.greatbiblestudy.com/deliverance_for_believers.php

I suggest starting with the cleansing of your land and home first, simply because it then makes getting rid of all other demonic influence so much easier. (Close the doors so they can’t call in their reinforcements, and then get rid of their friends!)

1. https://dreamsofdunamis.wordpress.com/2013/03/26/how-to-get-rid-of-land-demons-and-keep-them-out/

2. https://dreamsofdunamis.wordpress.com/2013/10/01/how-to-remove-demonic-doorways-and-demons-from-your-home/

If you feel the calling to get your deliverance in a different order, then do so. Perhaps there is a demon that needs to be cast out before you can get rid of certain objects in your home. Always start where the Holy Spirit is telling you to start!

During the writing of this post, I have been delivered of demons myself. I do not know all, and I can only share with you what I have been given. Much of this post, is a compilation of other sources that have worked for me and others.

Please note that I do not agree with everything that these links may claim. Yet there is still a huge amount of truth in them, spiritual warfare wise, to be of great use to the body of Christ, so I include them in the post. For this reason, I plead with you, to always be like the Bereans and check what is being said against the scriptures. The Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth; and He will never go against His own Word. If there is a discrepancy, it is most likely satan trying to deceive, or it is man’s own interpretation of the scriptures that is at fault.

A word of warning: PLEASE make sure you are a Blood-bought believer in Christ before attempting to cast the demons out of your home! The demons are very well aware of who belongs to Jesus Christ, and who does not. Do not be like those in the bible, who got torn up by the demons because they tried to control them but did not have a relationship with God. (Acts 19:13 – 16 “Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of [one] Sceva, a Jew, [and] chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.”) Give your life over to Jesus and become a believer FIRST! On how to become saved, please read: http://www.godssimpleplan.org/gsps-english.html

I have found that the biggest fallacy that hinders people from getting free from demonic influence, is the lie that Christians can’t have demons. But there were those in the New Testament who had demons, and they believed in Jesus enough to come to Him for help:
http://www.demonbuster.com/who.html and http://www.demonbuster.com/trakdel.html

Some of the nicest Christians I know, have some of the most messed up lives you could imagine. Divorce, drugs, health issues, poverty, are just some of the things that affect them. To an outsider looking in, their lives become a mockery of Christ’s promises to His children. Yet when one tries to help them, by explaining to them how to get rid of the demons plaguing their life, (and causing them such havoc,) they refuse to believe that such creatures could possible affect them in any way. I have found this to be the biggest stumbling block to the joy in their life that Christ wants them to have. Please see:
A Christian can have a demon: http://www.demonbuster.com/christi3.html

The other major stumbling block, is a believer’s own tongue. Swearing and the use of vulgar language definitely causes demons to be called towards you, yet what we say and believe as Christians can also have a tremendous effect upon our lives, and even on the lives of those around us. We have great power given to us by Jesus, and many have not yet realized its depth. The scriptures tell us that: “The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.” (James 3:6) And these scriptures: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Proverbs 18:21) “Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin.” (Proverbs 21:23) “For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Matthew 12:37) (See also Proverbs 13:3.) Jesus Himself told us: “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” (John 15:7) (See also John 14:13-14, John 16:24, John 14:14, John 20:31, 1 John 5:14, and Matthew 21:22.)

This means that we can proclaim a thing, (within His will,) and have it become so. Of course, this can be quite a problem for us when our words are negative ones. There is a family of demons called the jinx demons, and they just love it when we curse ourselves or our loved ones. (https://dreamsofdunamis.wordpress.com/2014/02/14/beware-of-the-jinx-demon/) When we say negative things about each other or ourselves, even if what we say is truth, we are giving the demons permission to fulfill the curse and cement it further in our lives.

There are several more ways besides this that demons can be allowed into a believer’s life.

What we eat or put into our bodies, can provide doorways for demons to attack. This also includes what we may breathe in, shoot into our body, etc. Even going under general anesthesia has caused some to be attacked. One had noted that his wife had trouble connecting with the Lord like she used to, after undergoing major surgery. After casting out any demons that may have entered during this procedure, she was able to go back to the way she was. Our family has noted that Monosodium Glutamate, fake sweeteners, and some pharmaceuticals have given us demonic trouble. Eating food sacrificed to idols, such as Easter candy or Christmas candies, have also caused us demonic trouble. (See https://dreamsofdunamis.wordpress.com/2014/04/19/food-sacrificed-unto-idols/)

Of course what you do can open up doorways also. If you are sinning, or have sinned and have yet to repent, then the demons can use this as an opening to attack you.

Where you go, can cause demons to try to attack you. For example, demons have tried to attack us while visiting Masonic buildings or other pagan places. Even going into the stores around the holidays, can be troublesome. When we went into the local Home Depot store around Halloween, they had a huge skeleton that was dressed as the grim reaper placed at the front door, ‘welcoming’ in their customers. We felt great demonic evil from it, and had to bind it up in the name of Jesus, for the demons to leave us alone.

What you listen to. Satanists and illuminists are out there, involved with the music industry, and have even put forth spells upon some of the music. Choosing to listen to such cursed music (or sounds for that matter,) can allow demons in to trouble you.

What you see. Paintings, video clips, or drawings of demons or of cursed places or things, can affect people. Demons like for you to see them, so then it is easier for them to attack you. We have had to keep an eye out for this with the internet: https://dreamsofdunamis.wordpress.com/2013/07/07/a-demon-came-through-the-computer-screen/

Who you lay hands on. Listen closely to the Holy Spirit, especially during deliverance. If the Holy Spirit is warning you not to lay hands on a person, then refrain from doing so! Be careful of whom you lay hands on. Demons can be transferred from person to person, especially through touch. This is why 1 Timothy 5:22 says: “Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.”

What you wear. Wearing Masonic or satanic things on your clothing or items, such as skulls or crossbones, witches wheels, or etc. This also includes tattoos and body piercings. Demonic doorways are created as the needle pierces the skin. Tattoos can also be a form of tribute to demons, depending on what the tattoo is – skulls, pentagrams, etc. This would still create open doorways for the demons because of the design. – a simple bow and ribbon design may not continue to attract as many demons like a skull and crossbones would.  (See http://themodifiedbody.com/ for more information on the spiritual problems with tattoos. The writer of this web site used to be a tattoo artist, and he researches into the different doorways that exist in tattoos, such as genome changes, nanotech enablement, DNA vaccines, and resonant frequencies. It is a very interesting web site to explore.)

What your ancestors have done. This is a big one. Demons love to cling to family lines. When demons stay within a family line, this is called a familiar spirit. Anyone in the family dabble in witchcraft? Anyone join the Masonic Lodge? Do you know what your ancestors were doing four hundred years ago? The sins of the parents can still affect their children, on down the line. As an example, one of my kids had a familiar demon in him, a demon of un-forgiveness, that caused him to hold long grudges against others. When it was cast out in Jesus name, it was discovered to be a resentful Lakota Indian demon, that had managed to transfer itself through the family line from my side of the family, down through the years, till we discovered it in my child.

And lastly, what others have done to you. Witches, and Satanists, spend a good deal of their time cursing believers. Unhealthy emotional ties to others who were abusive to you, or other things like this can cause the demons to try to attack you.

If you are out in public and feel attacked, you have the right to bind up demons that are causing you problems. Casting them out can be harder, especially if you are in a place that is controlled by a witch or Satanist. It is the owner of the property, (or the person renting the place,) that holds the legal right over the demons, to keep them or get rid of them. If the owner really wants them, then even if you get rid of them, they will return, for the owner has given them the legal right to do so.

Who can cast out demons? I quote demonbuster.com for the answer: “In Mark 16:17, JESUS says, “THOSE THAT BELIEVE SHALL CAST OUT DEMONS.” JESUS is talking to ME and YOU. We have no power on our own. That is why JESUS said to cast OUT demons, lay hands on the sick, and raise the dead using HIS name. The POWER of this Miracle is in USING His name.” This means that all who believe and follow Him, can cast out demons in His holy name: http://www.demonbuster.com/whoshould.html

We have found it beneficial to use the blessed (set aside for God’s use only,) olive oil while casting out a particularly nasty demon. The blessed olive oil is a symbol of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. “And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.” (Mark 6:13 KJV) (Zechariah 4:1-6 shows why the olive oil is used as a symbol of the Holy Spirit.) Demons hate it. Often times when casting out sickness demons, there is instant pain removal the moment the oil touches the skin.

If you can, try to name the demon that is troubling you. Describing the symptoms can be its name. As demons like to work in packs, (or legions,) the use of a thesaurus is sometimes helpful. Cast out all the names that are similar, just in case.

Cover everyone with the blood of Jesus. Say “I cover us all with the blood of Jesus.”

Use scripture whenever you can. It is our sword! We have seen demons crumble and become quite weak when we read God’s Word out loud to them. Then they are much easier to get rid of. Psalm 91 is what the Old Testament priests used to fight off the demons that would try to attack the temple. We use Psalm 91 to fight off the big demons. It has always worked.

Praise Jesus! This helps to get rid of the really stubborn demons that don’t want to leave. Praising Him during troubles is an especially powerful weapon against the demons. They can’t stand it so they leave!

If these things still do not work, then try speaking in tongues. For many years, I suffered from severe period cramps. I would sit and scream and cry from the pain; they were so bad that I struggled just to walk. Nothing helped, and the doctors even opened me up to see what was wrong. They said it was a birth defect, and that there was nothing they could do for me. But one day, the Holy Spirit told me to speak in tongues, specifically to sing a hopeful song in tongues. Hallelujah! The pain lessened to the point that I could easily handle what little was left. Even though I am now beyond those years of monthly courses, I still speak in tongues whenever body pain hits me. And it always helps! (Note, be cautious in having a whole group of people speaking in tongues while you do deliverance, unless you know each one well. You do not want an undercover Satanist speaking in his tongues while you are ministering!) See also:
Speaking In Tongues: http://www.demonbuster.com/tongues.html

Note: It is always a benefit to have a praying partner while casting out demons. Luke 10:1 says: “After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.” Your helper can be quietly praying along side of you, or they can be whispering the scriptures out loud. This can make deliverance a much smoother and quicker path. Make sure the helper is also a blood-bought believer as well. It is also good to try and cast out the demons when no other animals or children are near by.

Also note, that you can get attacked by demons, when you are trying to do the right thing. For example, many, many years ago, I got attacked something fierce, every time I tried to crack open the bible to read it. So don’t always assume that if you are getting attacked by evil, that you should stop what you are doing. If it is sin, then yes, of course stop. If you know that you are doing the will of God, then don’t. Bind up the demons troubling you, and then cast them out, in the name of Jesus.

Some have claimed that there must be some kind of sign or symptom, that shows that the demon has left. Our family has seen the demons as they came out of us, (and had symptoms such as sneezing or coughing,) and other times we could not see anything, and had no symptoms such as sneezing or coughing, but the pain was instantly gone.

For those who wish to do deliverance to strangers, please note:
http://www.christian-faith.com/how-to-cast-out-demons/

First, say “Peace be to this house”. (Luke 10:5) Then, bind up the demons in the name of Jesus: http://www.demonbuster.com/binding.html Bind up all spirits, principalities, and powers of satan in the name of Jesus. For example, you could say: “I bind up all spirits, principalities, and powers of evil that are here or near by. I bind them up in advance, and I break apart and cut all their lines of communication between them and their higher-ups. I invite the Holy Spirit to come in and work through us. I also cover this place and seal it with the blood of Jesus.”

In the scriptures, we are shown exactly how to cast out demons:

“And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, saying, Let [us] alone; what have we to do with thee, [thou] Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not. (Luke 4:33-35) Mark 5:8 8 “For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.” Mark 9:25 “… he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.” Acts 16:18 “…But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.”

Here is a testimony, of a demon that would not come out. (Not sure if the person was a believer or not.): http://www.jonasclark.com/spiritual-warfare-prayer/behind-the-rusty-hinges/ Clearly, the person you are trying to help, must want to be free from the demons. If they want to keep them, then they can not be cast out.

Books for those of you who would like to learn more:

“Blood on the Doorposts: An Advanced Course in Spiritual Warfare” by William Schnoebelen and Sharon Schnoebelen. (This is a Chick Publication. http://www.chick.com/catalog/books/0169.asp) Though I do not agree with him on which bible version is the best, (he’s a 1611 KJV only person, and I happen to appreciate the 1599 Geneva version as well as the KJV,) I HIGHLY recommend this book! I have found it to be the best one available at this time out on the market. ISBN: 0-937958-43-3 It has all three areas of spiritual warfare in it, along with eye-opening testimonies. It is one of the most dog-eared books in our library. This is the book that we read to really set us free from all the demonic harassment we were experiencing. Each one of my kids has their own private copy of it. It is that good!

Prayers That Rout Demons: Prayers for Defeating Demons and Overthrowing the Powers of Darkness” by John Eckhardt. Again, each kid has their own copy of this book, it is that helpful in fighting off evil. If you ever get tongue-tied and don’t know what to say to fight off the evil, then this book is for you. I have it in audio format, and sometimes I will play the whole CD, and the demons will vacate the house. I look upon it as a form of fumigation.

“Demon Hit List” by John Eckhardt. This book is simply a list of the demon’s names to cast out. When we brought this book home, along with the one listed above, we heard the demons crying out and saying to each other, “oh no! They have that book!”

“23 Minutes In Hell: One Man’s Story About What He Saw, Heard, and Felt in That Place of Torment” by Bill Wiese. I add this book here, because it was a big help to me, in discerning specifically what attacks were from satan. Whatever is found in hell, usually comes from satan. There were things in this book that surprised me, and I would not have thought to cast them out or bind them up before reading this book. For example, offensive odors, was one thing I had not thought to bind up in Jesus name. Yet this is commonly found in hell. So, one time in a restaurant, someone had an incredibly offensive odor upon them, and it was causing me difficulty in breathing. Remembering this book, I bound it up and cast it from me in the name of Jesus, and within a minute or so, the smell was gone and I was able to breathe freely.

This book I put last, because it has some questionable things in it. You must really have on your Berean thinking cap while going through it. However, it is included here because the chapter on deliverance to children was helpful, and as it is a long-standing book on deliverance, it may already be in someone’s library. It is: “Pigs In The Parlor: A Practical Guide to Deliverance” by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond. I will give you three issues that I have with it, as an example. (There are several more issues through out the book.) On page 31, it speaks of being baptized in the Holy Spirit, and not being baptized in the name of Jesus. This seemed quite Catholic to me. On page 42, it speaks of getting rid of ‘some’ pornographic material. Good heavens! Why only some? Why not get rid of all of it? And on page 50, the author claims that “there must always be a balance between positive and negative factors.” (Chapter and verse for that one, please?,) That sounds a bit yin and yang, or false Eastern religionish  to me for comfort. So if you do get a hold of it, be aware of issues such as these.

Books I suggest to avoid:

The Bondage Breaker” by Neil T Anderson. Sadly, he relies a great deal on man’s solutions to a spiritual problem. He tries to combine God’s ways with modern psychology. But the Lord tells us in Isaiah 55:8 (KJV): “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways…” You simply can not combine them and expect Godly results. The Lord told me that I had to remove the book from our home, for it would become a curse upon our family if I did not. Needless to say, it went in the trash right then and there.

“They Shall Expel Demons: What You Need to Know about Demons—Your Invisible Enemies” by Derek Prince. I found that he allows for a lack of faith and unbelieving when it comes to healing. Again, the Lord told me to get rid of the book. He even specified that I was to throw it out and not give it to another, for it would stop them from receiving their healing. Note: This may apply only to this book. I have heard good reports from others on some of his earlier works.

Surprisingly, many Christians go to “The Screwtape Letters” by C.S. Lewis, to get a good idea of how satan attacks us. When I read this book, I was attacked by demons who were trying to convince me that there was nothing I could really do to defeat such demons. And of course, there is nothing in the book to suggest how to get rid of demons. When my kids went to read it, they found they could not. It was either seen as a black smoky page, or when glimpses of it could be seen, no writing was there. The Lord told us to not read it and to get rid of it. (That is when we learned all about C.S. Lewis not really being a Christian.)

In conclusion, I pray that the Lord would bless you and keep you, and make His face shine down upon you, and give you His peace. I ask the Lord Jesus Christ to guide you and gift you with the Holy Spirit, the same Holy Spirit that will guide us into all truth. (John 16:13) I pray that the Lord would give you great strength and determination in getting yourself and your loved ones free from all demonic influences. I pray that this will bring you even closer to the Lord, and that you will hear from Him most clearly and frequently, as you spend more and more time with Him. I ask these same things also for myself and my loved ones. Lord, protect all Your children from the evil that is out there in this world. Amen and Hallelujah! For John 8:36 (KJV) says: “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

*

Luke 10:1- 20 (KJV)

“After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way. And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again. And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say, Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city. Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you. And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell. He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me. And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
