Playing Football For The King

A dream…

I am to work for the King. But the work I was doing was being stopped by the authorities. I knew I could go over their heads and get the job done, but I’d have to fight all their red-tape and that thought scared me away.

So I left, but not far enough away. I went to the ocean side, and hid among many others.

Then I heard that the King was searching for me. A part of me was flattered, (the King wants me?), and yet the other part of me, wanted to be left alone.

Then I overheard people saying that the King was searching for someone who could play football for His team.

I knew, without doubt, He was searching for me.

An emissary for the King called out to us all, “The King is looking for the one who can play football!”
Others around me, gave pause for a moment, and then continued on with their life. I could have raised my hand, but did not. (Why? Too shy? Or did I just not like playing football, and would rather not?)
So the King’s men spread out among the people, and began to play football among them. Every now and then, the ball would chance upon someone, who either ignored it, or tried to play it back to them.
Then, as I was interacting with others, the ball came right at me.

I caught it without thought. I held the ball for a moment, and then nonchalantly tossed it back to them.

“Hey!”, they exclaimed, pointing at me, “she can play football!” (A girl who can play football? – A novelty!)

“Get her!” exclaimed their leader, and they all began converging to where I was.

I ran. They followed. But they couldn’t catch me. Every time they’d get close, I’d manage to get help from the others around me and they would hide me.

I enjoyed the chase, for it was a chase between a loved one and the lover, but I did not want to be caught! Getting caught would mean the loss of my freedom, and I enjoyed living free.

Then, they caught me. They marked me as one who belonged to the King, and then brought me before Him.
I feared seeing Him. I knew He would want me, but I feared settling down with Him. Wouldn’t everyday life with the King be boring? There would be responsibilities placed upon my shoulders, responsibilities I did not want. I knew joining with Him would be wonderful, but I just didn’t want to join him yet!

Then, suddenly, I am before Him. The great King comes down from his throne, and comes to me. Already, my soul feels the pleasure that will come from being with Him.

He dismisses his men with a nod, but never takes His eyes off of me.

(Oh, to be loved like this!)

He reaches out to me then, aglow with His power and His love, to gently touch my cheek. “Why, ma petite?” He asks me.

At first, I cannot look at Him, and then I can no longer avoid Him, and I then open my eyes – my soul – to His gaze. With just that one look, He can see all my emotion; my fear, my projections, my self-will. And a moment pauses, as He takes this in.

Then, He asks me again, “why? Are you not mine?” The mixing pain, shame, and love, is too much for me to take, and I close my eyes.

Then I awake.

The Reasoning of the Chosen

A dream…

Suddenly, it was time.
People gathered in large numbers, milling around,
All waiting to see if their name would be called next.
Then they would be ushered into the dining room to eat.
All waited expectantly, wondering.
Names were called; big important names.
And one by one, these VIP’s were ushered in,
Where a wingless angel stood nearby
Taking their order for pizza,
And placing each person around the tables,
Each thinking it was according to their rank.
The others outside, still waiting,
Could see all that went on inside,
(Despite the huge crowds.)
Each name that was called, they would justify.
Yes, we can understand why he was chosen,
For he was the owner of that company.
And that guy over there, hey, wasn’t he the town mayor?
Then my old pastor’s name was called.
I watched as he entered and took his place,
(He was in line not far from me.)
He went in, placed his order, and ate beside the others.
A few other people were called and seated,
Then my name was called.
Whispers of shock reverberated around the tables,
Why her? Who was she? She was a nobody!
Why is she joining us here at our table?
They could not understand the reasoning of the chosen,
Nor could I. For yes, they were right, I was no one.
I placed no order, but received a pizza just the same.
It was a large green-peppered pizza, with pepperoni.
I eyed it, mouth watering, yet hesitating.
(I liked pepperoni and green peppers, but could not eat them while on earth.)
But somehow I knew, that this time it was O.K. for me to eat it,
And that I would not get sick from them.
So I ate small bites, marveling at how good it tasted, how perfect.
And each time I took out a bite, it was somehow replaced,
Leaving me with a whole pizza again.
My old pastor and I, we looked at each other and smiled.
But the others around us, continued to argue among themselves,
Trying to figure out why someone as lowly and unimportant like me,
Would be seated next to them.
Some made sense to them, like why the VIP’s were there.
But no one could figure out why little nobodies like me were among them.
We all looked around the room, searching, wondering, and eating.
Then in a flash, I knew. Everyone at our table, had one thing in common.
We had listened to my old pastor’s sermons, and had brought them into our heart.
That was the link among us; every single one.
We were all there, deemed important, not because of title or position,
But because we took this old pastor’s shared words of Jesus,
And allowed them to live within us.

I woke up then, and the song “The Invitation” by Steven Curtis Chapman,
Was playing in the back of my mind.

Matthew 22:1-14, KJV. “And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Drinking Deadly Poison

I apologize for not posting last month. For some reason I thought I had already posted something for the month of July.

I would like to say thank you again dear brothers and sisters for remembering me in your prayers!!

The Lord is bringing me though a valley of sickness and despair; He has shown me that I am now on my way out of it. He has commanded me to keep a diary of what I have endured, and wants me to publish it when I am completely healed. (Satan attacked my computer and completely destroyed it in an attempt to stop me; I am writing this from a friends borrowed computer.) I ask that you still keep me in your prayers, that I might be healed and complete the mission the Lord has placed before me. I claim in the name of Jesus that I will live and see and declare the works of the Lord!

Vitreous degeneration (blindness), floaters in the eyes, tilting vision, diabetes, obesity, neuropathy, nerve pain, amputation, skin infections, fungal infections, skin growths, migraines, back pain, internal infections, arthritis (joint pain), dizziness, bladder problems, and teeth problems, they all have tried to attack me. But I believe in Jesus name I will be victorious!

Before September 2015, I weighed over 235 pounds and my fasting glucose was 188 and the A1c was 7.3. Currently, as I write this, I weigh 160 pounds, and have a fasting glucose level of 96.3 and my A1c is 5.3. Some infections and skin growths have already been cured, and I no longer hobble around like a ninety year old woman with her walker. I have used no prescription medications to achieve these changes, nor have I become a vegetarian. I give all credit to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is guiding me through the maze in this valley and leading me out and up to the other side.

The Lord wants me to try and share with you an open vision that He gave me before I had begun my decent into this valley. It is an excerpt from my forthcoming book.

DRINKING DEADLY POISON

I was up in the heavens looking down upon the earth. Before me were waves upon waves of beautiful amber grain blowing in the wind. Some were lined up in rows next to each other in huge fields, while others seem to sprout up singly in the oddest places. Some even clung to the side of a mountain, or hung out over the water.

I knew I was in America.

Then I noticed that there were demons weaving in and around the shafts of grain, and I watched as they poured their different poisons into the grain’s root systems. When the wheat stalk had consumed enough poison, it sickened and died.

These demons were very careful not to concentrate their efforts in one place, but spread it out among the field, choosing one stalk here, and another over there. The time that the poisons took before they began to work seemed to vary with each individual wheat stalk. Some succumbed quickly, while other stalks needed more time and more poison. The demons made sure that it all seemed very random.

But it was a well thought out attack and not random at all.

My vision then panned outwards, and I could see that it was indeed the United States that I had been in. As I got farther out, I could see that the demons were trying to do the same thing in many of the other areas of the world. Their presence was not as strong in these other areas as they were in America. Those places with the strongest ties to America had more attacks than the others. But there were still some areas that had hardly been touched at all with the demons or their poisons. Those stalks of wheat were still strong and healthy.

The vision then ended.

Note: I brought up Mark 16:18 to the Lord, “…if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them…”, but He became angry and told me that this piece of scripture was never given as a license to change all the other scriptures that recorded what He proclaimed as food, and to make poison our daily bread instead. That was satan’s work.
