The Aftermath of the Fire

For us, life will never be the same. We have learned so much from this experience, things that have changed us in our daily life. We look at others differently, and we look at our God differently. Jesus is much bigger to us now, for we have seen the salvation He can bring!

We have heard of twelve other instances, where a believer used those scriptures (John 15:7-8, John 16:23-24, and Psalm 91) to make a claim upon their house, and their house was also miraculously saved! Hallelujah! It was wonderful to watch their face as they testified to me about it. The Holy Spirit’s light shone forth from their face till it seemed as if they glowed.

I also discovered that having cursed items in your home did not remove the legal right to use those scriptures to save the home! (This is a big thing for those of my readers who are stuck living with other unbelievers or pagans!) I know that my believing neighbor has cursed items in her home, for I have seen them. Her and her children are believers, while her husband is not yet a believer. Sadly, their lives testify to the cursed items being there, for great have been the troubles upon those that lived in that home!

That is one thing I have witnessed through this fire. Those who practice deliverance have a peaceful and prosperous life. Those who do not believe in such things as demons affecting Christians, or those who simply do not practice deliverance for themselves, have a life filled with problems.

I had also wondered what it would be like, to stay on land that was not blessed. When we go to stay at a hotel, we bless it with blessed oil, for we know we have the legal jurisdiction over it due to the paying of rent for its use. But we didn’t have that while staying with others during the evacuation. Both homes that we stayed in, were not blessed homes. The Jehovah’s witness home was actually under a curse besides, for the woman of the house has had it blessed by the elders of that cult. I found that much time was spent in spiritual warfare; at the JW house, it was all I could do just to keep up with the attacks. After that incident with the fire demon nightmare and that playing card, (at the unbeliever’s house,) I went out and purchased some olive oil, and then blessed it for our use. I then blessed the beds we used, for the owners of both places stated that we could sleep there. I looked at it as a matter of a gift that was being given to us, and in that case, I hoped that the spiritual laws extended to such gifts from the owner.  It must have worked, for our sleep was much better after blessing the beds.

The Jehovah’s Witnesses contacted us, several weeks after they had kicked us out of their home, saying that they were sad at how things turned out, and that they wanted to get together with us for dinner. The Lord pointed out to me, that this was not an actual apology, (in essence, they were saying that they were sad that I had acted the way I did,) and besides it was the man who initiated the email, and not the woman herself. I found out from her son, that she still felt she was in the right and had done no wrong, and that the father was in agreeance with her. My husband and I prayed to the Lord and asked Him what we should do, and He told us to have nothing further to do with them. He gave me this piece of scripture as His reasoning: “Reject him that is an heretic, after once or twice admonition, Knowing that he that is such, is perverted, and sinneth, being damned of his own self.” (Titus 3:10-11, GNV) I thought to give them another chance, but the Lord reminded me that she had many chances over those two days, as I answered her questions with the scriptures, and that even my son, who is friends with her son, also got kicked out from her home before, because he was trying to answer her questions about hell. So they have had their two chances already. I need not do any more. The Lord told me that he does not want us to go out and dine with a bunch of demons, and that this is in essence what we would be doing if we got together with them. My heart has ached over this, for I hate to think of them being cut off from Jesus.

It has also been sad to see a man that I had hopes for, turn away from Christ yet again. He was doing landscaping for us at the time of the fire. I made the claim to him that the Lord Jesus would save our home from the fire, just moments before evacuating. When he seen that it was spared, he put it all down to luck. This man has had such bad luck, always getting ill in some way, or his kids being in accidents, that I have told him that he either needs a new profession or a new God. He laughed and told me he just needs to be able to hire a bunch of workers that he can order around and everything would be fine. He has yet to understand. I pray that he will come to see that what he really needs is Jesus.

I find myself wanting to go back to those believers who have lost their homes, and testify to them about the scriptures that they could have used to save their homes, so it won’t happen to them again. Yet one of my boys pointed out to me, that they would then feel like it was their fault that their house burnt down. And I can see his point. No one likes to find out that they could have saved their home if they had just used that piece of scripture and believed. So for now, I leave it be. But there may come a time when I might be called to testify to them about it. I pray that if and when that time comes, I will be courageous enough to do it. Hosea 4:6 says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” Apparently their homes can be destroyed too.

The family who’s son called mine to warn us about the fire in the first place, and who ended up losing their home, are cessationists; they believe that speaking in tongues, casting out demons, and healing all died off with the original apostles. We testified to them, that we claimed that piece of scripture and that is why our house was saved. They frowned, but said nothing. I can only pray that the seed takes root in fertile ground. The Lord had told us not to give them any money, and I am glad that we did not, for their insurance is paying them extremely well, though they are having quite a fight with their insurance to get the money. We got a new couch, and we had planned to throw out the old one in the dump, but they asked us for it instead. When I asked the Lord if I could give it to them, He responded with such contempt that it startled me. He said “They can have your garbage!” When I asked Him why He was so angry, He told me that He longs to give them the best, but they insist on relying on man (their church,) and the government, instead of relying on HIM. He feels slighted over their choice to ignore Him. They could have so much more, but they refuse His help and His gifts.

During the middle of the night, several weeks after we had returned, I awoke to the smell of fire. Panic then hit me in the chest so hard, that for a moment I was left breathless. Satan kept trying to convince me that I should get up and go out to see if the fire was close to our house. He told me that it was only luck that saved our house in the last fire, and it would not be saved in this one. At this absurdity the spell was broken, and I laughed out loud and told him that there was no way it was just luck. I then cast him out and claimed in Jesus name that no fire would ever even get close to our house again. I then contentedly fell back asleep.

I have really appreciated the prayers of the believers out there, said on my and my family’s behalf; I could feel them strengthening us as we went through this disaster. May the Lord Jesus Christ return unto you ten times the blessings that you have asked for me!

There is a favorite piece of scripture that I’d like to share with you, that I often like to say during my prayer time. “Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.” (Proverbs 3:25-26 KJV) Amen!

A Jehovah’s Witness

I met a nice lady in a clothing store the other day. And of course, we got to talking about God.

She told me she was a Jehovah’s witness.

She asked me about my denomination, and I told her that I had none, and was simply a believer in Jesus Christ.

We discovered that neither of us celebrated the usual pagan holidays like Christmas and Easter, and we even agreed that a person’s birthday should be marked differently than how the world celebrates it.

This made sense to me, for there was not the usual worldly demons attached to her, that were found on many of the people.

She shared with me, how her denomination is so persecuted and hated, and of the many fallacies that are out there in the world concerning her religion.

I was surprised to discover, that they spend great time just studying and memorizing all of the scriptures. (I had thought that they did not use as much of the scriptures as they do, but relied on other outside teachings instead.)

I was also surprised to discover that her religion was not one that taught of hard male dominance within a marriage, but one that believed that the woman should respect her husband, and the man should love his wife as he does his own body. No firm patriarchal dominance was taught, as can be found within other sects of Christianity.

I shared with her, some of the things I have been learning these past few years about demons, and how the Lord Jesus Christ gave us the power to cast them out in His name. “It completely changed my life,” I told her. “Before, when I was not aware of them, my life was such a mess! Constant fighting with my husband and my children, always seeming to have bad things happening to me and my family, from financial things to health issues. But now that I have been casting them out, all those problems are no more!”

Then I asked her, if their denomination believed in casting out demons in Jesus name.

“Oh we believe that there are such things as demons, we really do! We know that they can affect a person’s life no small amount!”

“Yes,” I said, “but do YOU cast them out in Jesus name?”

Something in her expression changed then, and she became more wary. “We believe that only some people have been given that gift.”

(Evidently, she believed she had not been one of those that had been given such a gift.)

I tried to tell her that all believers had been given this gift, but she did not believe it. “Besides,” She said, “I wouldn’t even know how to cast one out by myself.”

“Oh that’s easy,” I replied. “You simply say out loud, ‘Demon, I cast you out in the name of Jesus’.”

I told her then, that I could not sense the usual demons on her, which is why I had started talking to her. This puzzled me now, for if she did not cast them out in Jesus name, why is it that she did not have so many that they could easily be sensed?

It was then that I discovered that they read many scriptures out loud on a daily basis. That would be enough to at least cripple and discourage many demons from hanging around her, for my kids have well described to me what happens to demons when scripture is read out loud in their presence. They cringe as if in great pain, and crumble up into a little ball.

But still, they do not necessarily leave. Only casting them out in Jesus name will do that.

She asked me if I had ever been to one of their halls, and I told her no, but that one of my boys had gone one time with a friend during Passover.

She smiled, pleased with my answer. “And what did he think of it?”

I inwardly cringed. How could I tell her without causing her pain? But I also knew I could not lie or skirt around what he had found. So I simply came out and told her.

“He witnessed huge demons hanging over the leaders. They were attached to them.”

I expected a denial from her, for I knew that I had revealed a hurtful truth about her false religion. But what she said next just floored me.

Her eyes grew huge with excitement, and she said, “I knew it! I knew I was in the right religion!”

This time it was my own eyes that grew huge. I was shocked! Never had I suspected that she would respond with such an assertion!

“Well,” I said to her, still flabbergasted, “that doesn’t necessarily mean that you are in the right religion!”

“Well of course it does!” she replied. “It says so right in scripture! God’s Word tells us that His children will be persecuted and attacked by satan!”

“But we’re not supposed to keep the demons,” I replied.

She frowned. “Well, no, of course not,” she said.

I then explained to her, that the influx of demons in the churches in our area, (she knew at that point that I lived far out into the country,) was why we did not go to any of them on a regular basis.

“Well,” she responded, “no church is perfect. They are filled with imperfect people.”

“But they don’t have to keep their demons,” I answered.

I then told her that none of the churches within an hour’s drive from our home believed in casting out demons, and that this was why those churches were filled with them. I then told her of one church that I once knew of where we used to live, that did not have any in it, and that it was because they were quite proactive in casting any out, before, during, and after their services.

We were then interrupted by the sales person, so our conversation ended, and we said our goodbye’s.

It saddened me, to watch her depart, still thinking that she herself could not cast out a demon.

But at least now she knows how to, if she should ever change her mind…

* * * *

Later on that night, I went and did some research on the religion known as Jehovah’s Witness. It saddened me, to learn what I did. There are some serious problems in  their teachings. They have their own version of the bible where they changed certain words and passages so that they back up these teachings. Those that made the changes had no scholarly background, and could not even translate the relevant ancient languages needed for the few passages they changed. This woman had been a Christian for all of her life, and she had been searching for a church that kept God’s ways but could not find one. They all celebrated the pagan holidays. Then she found Jehovah’s Witness. They did not celebrate such things, and because of this, she told me she joined up with them.  All the other differences between Christianity and Jehovah’s Witness, she summed up as simply ‘not being perfect’. I looked at her while we were talking and realized, she had settled for second best.

Some other things noted about this religion:

They do not believe that unbelievers go to hell when they die. They do not believe that humans have a soul that lives on after the physical death.

“While the Jehovah Witnesses believe that Jesus lived and died, they do not believe everything that he claims about himself. They do not believe that he is God but has been created by God. He is still very important to God but not in essence God. They believe that he is in fact the archangel Gabriel become man. And while they believed he dies and paid a ransom for the sins of humanity, they do not believe that he rose again bodily but spiritually and materialized a new body in order to appear before his disciples.” http://christianity.net.au/questions/how_do_christians_and_jehovas_witness_differ

They believe that Jesus has already returned in spirit form, in 1914.

They believe that only 144,000 will be up in heaven. The rest will remain on earth.

There is no grace for them as we know it. They work to earn their salvation, by doing ‘kingdom publishing ‘ work.

“They don’t have a personal relationship with Christ (who they say is not God), but rather they observe a system of law and works…They also consider any salute to a flag as worship of that flag, and therefore prohibited. They don’t vote, hold public office or serve in the military.”  http://www.chick.com/bc/1985/jehovahswitness.asp

“The Witnesses are taught that the world is under the devil’s control. To leave the organization is to fall under Satan’s control…Because the Witnesses are taught that Armageddon could arrive at any moment, he/she would be destroyed at Armageddon if they were to leave. The Witnesses believe that the Watchtower organization is God’s “Ark of Salvation.” (That sounds like something a cult would say to keep you with them!)   http://www.chick.com/information/religions/jw/rescue.asp

Their history is filled with false prophecies. Their leaders also claim to speak for God.
“Founder Charles Taze Russell made several early predictions and pronouncements such as the start of the millennium in 1872, that Jesus actually came in 1874, and that 1914 would see, “The end of a war that would destroy the kingdoms of this world and fully establish the Kingdom of God.” When it became obvious that the prophecies had failed, the dates were revised only to have them fail again. Heinze elaborates on the many failed predictions including the building of a mansion in 1929 in San Diego, California for “faithful men of old” who were soon to be resurrected to take charge of the earth. The house eventually became an embarrassing monument to their failed prophecy so it was sold in 1948. Heinze points out that, since these failed prophecies were based on erroneous interpretations of Bible, how can one trust the Watchtower to rightly divide the Scriptures when it comes to their doctrine?”   http://www.chick.com/bc/2000/failedprophecies.asp

They also do not believe in blood transfusions. However, I must say in their defense, our family can see some truth in this particular belief. We have seen that the demons just love the blood of an unbeliever that has been spilled. They congregate around it, increase their numbers with it, and draw strength from it. So, after seeing that, no one in our family would ever knowingly accept the blood of an unbeliever into their veins. A believer’s blood, yes. An unbeliever’s, no.

Jeremiah 14:14 (KJV) “Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.”

Matthew 7:15, 20-23 (KJV) “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves…Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.”

John 20:24-29 (KJV) “But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”

Students Beware! The New Age Wellness Fair

3-6-13

One of my kids
Attending a local community college
Was given time off from physical education class
To attend their yearly campus ‘Wellness Festival.’
They were told by their phys-ed teacher
That they would receive extra credit for attending it.
(Here in California, it is mandatory to take two gym classes
In order to receive any kind of an associates degree.)

One booth that was there, offered you a ‘free’ metal thermos,
If you pledged to cut back on your sugar intake,
And gave them your email address.

Another booth gave you print outs on what helpful herbs
Might be growing in your back yard, and how these herbs can be applied to help heal common illnesses.

Yet another booth offered you a free back massage,
And stressed the importance of relaxation.

This child of mine wandered through it all,
Observing everything as usual,
Till the child came across something
That this child had never seen before.

An energy aura cleanser.

This woman had no booth,
But wandered around the campus fair grounds,
Inviting anyone near her,
To come forth and have their “energy cleansed” by her.

My child stood back and watched,
As a student was just finishing getting her aura ‘cleansed’ by this woman.

There were demons
That swirled around this woman,
Demons that went forth and attacked the person,
Sucking their energy from them,
Forming it into some kind of glowing orb ball,
(reminiscent of those colorful-swirling rubber balls one can get in a vending machine for fifty cents, but way bigger,)
And then feeding it into the spirit of the woman.

“Ah, yes!,” she exclaimed, now I can feel your energy!
It needs to be released and flowing!”

The woman then placed her hands upon the student,
(the woman’s hands, and especially her fingertips, were covered with a heavy dark substance that was very black, and it was this substance, that seemed to provide the opening doorway for the evil spirits to enter into the student to whom she was touching,) and the student’s glowing ball of colorful aura that had been fed into this woman just moments before by the demons, Was now taken back out from this woman by those same demons, along with some of the spirits already in the woman, and then with their hands, the demons then swirled the different kinds (and colors) of spirits together into another now different ball of aura,
And then threw it back into the student.

This was all done by the demons,
Who used the woman to initiate the needed touch and catch phrases for the spiritual exchange to take place.

As the woman finished with the student,
She looked around and quickly found my child.

“You there!,” she cried out to my kid,
“I can SEE your energy! Come! Let me cleanse it for you!”

At this, the demons working this woman,
Rushed forward and tried to attack my child.

But the demons were never able to get close enough to my child, to retrieve any of my child’s spirit,
For the angels that surrounded my child
Were large and several in number,
and they were VERY, VERY ANGRY.
They hissed as they attacked the demons who were trying to come near. They used their huge bright shields to cover my child, and held out their flaming swords towards the swirling demons in the air. But it was with their own hands, that the angels attacked these demons, using their blindingly white light that emanated from their own hands,
And they quickly formed their own orbs of blinding white power,
And slung them one right after the other at the demons.

These demons reminded my child of the Buddha demons that our family had once fought off, when we allowed that porcelain sculpture of a Buddha god into our home. Except this time, the demons were not as powerful as those were.
They also felt different than the Roman Catholic spirits, who usually gave off great waves of irritability as a warning when this child got too close to something strongly Catholic.

The demons retreated back into the woman,
And my child quickly said a most emphatic “No!,”
As the woman continued to ask my child if she could please cleanse my child’s aura. My child said no a few more times in answer to her persistence, till the woman shrugged and moved her attention on to another student who was walking her way.

Afterwards, my child told me that they (the angels and the child,) would still rather go up against demons like those, versus the demons that are found in those who actively worship satan. The demons of satan worshipers are the WORST to fight off. Not that they are so hard to battle against, but more that the demons that reside within them, are more vile and disgusting to confront. The angels also hiss more, and quickly ground their teeth at such demons, and eagerly await the right to attack those demons, if they were to be stupid enough to try and attack them.

Most of the demons that are seen on campus by this child, usually stick to the person that they are ‘haunting’, and for the most part, do not try to jump from person to person. It saddens this child of mine, to see so many people, unbelievers, walking around with their demons, unaware of just what is tailing them. Some, if the person’s end was to come at that moment, would be quickly dragged down to hell by the demons already attached to them. This child has described the campus to me, as “a walking future graveyard”. True believers, are easy to see, for they have a bright white aura around them that is clear to discern amongst all the surrounding spiritual darkness.

I asked my child, if they had said scripture first,
Before the angels attacked those demons,
And I was told no. “I said some later, under my breath, but no, not at first.” This comforted me, for until this point, for some reason, I had thought that the angels would not attack unless scripture was quoted. But thankfully this incident proved that theory wrong.

I quickly went into my prayer room
And thanked the Lord our God for protecting my kids from such an attack!

As I continued on with my day,
I couldn’t help but wonder
If the Wellness Fair should have been called
‘The New Age Wellness Fair’, for the majority that had booths there, were ones that would fit in quite easily
With all the new age teachings.

And then the thought occurred to me…

What would have been the colleges response,
To a Christian woman wandering around the fair,
Asking the students as they walked past her,
If they would like to be blessed,
And have a laying on of hands,
to cast out any evil spirits,
And to be anointed with olive oil,
In the hopes that healing would be brought to their body.

Can you imagine the outpouring of protests this would cause? Oi! Yes, I realize that as believers, we are to be cautious of whom we lay our hands on, yet still…the point is, the campus would never even allow such a thing, yet it is not thought wrong at all, that the public college backs up such a shamanic witch, allowing her to wander the grounds of the campus cursing any who are deceived enough to be taken in by her sly offerings….

CHRISTIAN STUDENTS BEWARE…!
