Please Do Not Get That Tattoo!

In our family’s experience, where ever blood is spilled from the body, there are demons. The more blood, the more openings, the more demons. Any form of blood-letting will do. Tattooing causes about 3,000 piercings of the skin per minute, which is a lot of openings for demons to enter in. “Blood-letting has both occult and demonic origins as it is considered a power source that is supernaturally unleashed.” (http://www.raptureready.com/featured/schaefer/tattoo.html)

My kids can spot a tattoo parlor from over a mile away, just from all the demons hanging around it. These demons are attached to the parlor, almost like balloons on strings, and they reach out and hover over the city, while they try to entice people to enter in. The demons are covered with tattoos, and they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. We have not found a tattoo parlor yet without demons attached to it. Tattoo artists are filled with demons. (Yes, even ‘Christian’ tattoo artists.) Those demons can easily transfer to you when you get a tattoo from them. Once in, the demon has the right to ask other demons to come and live within you as well. (Matthew 12:43-45)

My kids and I have seen and spoken to many people with tattoos. They have ALWAYS had demons coming out from their tattoos. And yes, this is the same even for ‘Christian’ tattoos. For this reason, we tend not to get together in person on a regular basis with those that flaunt their tattoos, for we have yet to meet one that was free of those demons. (And we do not like to spend our time with demons.) If the person covers them up with their clothing, we don’t get hit as much from the demons. It’s like they are held back somehow, and can not reach us.

One of my kids was friends with a missionary. This man had no tattoos. Then he went to a foreign land to minister unto the people, and when he returned, he had ‘Christian’ tattoos on his hands. He also had demons on him, that were not there before. My kid could see that these demons were attached to his new tattoos. Yes, his CHRISTIAN tattoos! His friend does not believe that his ‘Christian’ tattoos could have opened him up to demons. So the demons in him happily remain.

My husband wanted to show me a wedding photo of one of his friends. When I went to look at the computer screen, I gasped and stumbled back from the onslaught of demons that were reaching out towards me from the computer screen. I then braced myself and carefully looked closer at the photo, to try and discern from where the attack was coming from. I followed the strings of the demons to their end, and found that one of the people in the wedding photo, had tattoos covering both of her arms. (The rest of her was covered, and she had no tattoos on her face.) There wasn’t a place left on her arms that was not covered in ink. I was very glad then, that we had not gone to this wedding. I also felt bad for the bride, who will always have her wedding photo marred with those demons.

Our family knows that God is not fond of tattoo’s, for in Leviticus 19:28 (KJV) He says: “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.” He did not want His children to be mistaken for those who follow pagan gods. Pagans and even Satanists still use tattoos today to mark themselves as being apart from others. Satanists are known to get tattoos as a way of purposely acquiring specific demons.

Some carnal Christians try to explain that piece of scripture away, stating that in Lev 19:27, (right before 19:28,) it forbids one to get a hair cut. But “what Leviticus 19.27 is talking about is ‘rounding the corners of your head’ and ‘marring the corners of your beard’. These were heathen practices. One such practice was to cut the hair so that the head resembled a celestial globe. It is called a ‘tonsure’, a practice of heathens to honor their gods.” (http://pratonix.hubpages.com/hub/The-Tragic-Truth-about-Tattoos)

Did you know that cutting your body is a sign of demonic influence? (Mark 5:1-9) When you get a tattoo, you cut your body. Just thinking about getting a tattoo, shows that a demon is right there trying to entice you into getting one. Cast out that demon in the name of Jesus, before it causes you to mutilate the temple of the living God!

http://www.biblebelievers.com/watkins_tattoos/bible.html states: “…In 1 Corinthians 3, the Lord clearly and sternly warns against defiling your body – the temple of God. …”Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)”

The health risks of getting a tattoo is alarming. Again, sickness comes from demons, and not from God. (John 10:10) Particular demons can cause specific sicknesses. “A tattooing machine can puncture the skin 3,000 times a minute. And every one of those thousands of punctures creates a hole 1/64 to 1/16th of an inch into the dermis that literally invites infection and disease. Every single puncture of the tattoo needle opens up the real possibility of AIDS, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, tetanus, tuberculosis and about any other blood-borne disease. With the average tattoo taking about 60 minutes that equals 180,000 tiny “Russian Roulette” puncture wounds providing a potential path to a very deadly infectious disease. Psalm 38:5-8 almost sounds like it was written just for such an infection… “My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness. I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long. For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh. I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.” (http://www.biblebelievers.com/watkins_tattoos/health.html)

God commands us to SEPARATE from the sinful world (2nd Corinthians 6:14-17), and not to help them by befriending and adopting their wickedness.

“Jameison-Faussett-Brown Commentary and Explanatory on the Whole Bible writes under Leviticus 19:28: “…they were wisely forbidden, for they were signs of apostasy; and, when once made, they were insuperable obstacles to a return.””

Throughout history tattoos have symbolized rebellion and deviancy. They were used to mark criminals, traitors, and deserters.

Humans learned the art of tattooing, (among other decorating arts of the body,) from the fallen angels that mated with human women before the flood of Noah. (http://www.eaec.org/bibleanswers/Noah.htm) Indeed, an increase in tattooing is a sign of the end times, because so many were doing it in the pre-flood days of Noah. It would not surprise me if the mark of the beast might one day be noted with a tattoo.

“Former Satanists have stated that one of the major societal signs of a society slipping into Satanism is a surge in the number of body piercings and tattoos. God forbade tattooing of the body in Deu 14:1 and Lev 19:28 because it went hand in hand with the Satan worship among the foreign populations of the people living in Israel at the time. God forbade body piercing in Leviticus 21:5, also because it was part of the satanic practice of that time, and God wanted Israel to have nothing to do with either the practice or the outward physical manifestations of it. Many of the people who pierce the body are practicing Satanists, and will take a month’s supply of body piercing jewelry to their monthly coven meeting to be cursed. Specific curses will be placed upon each piece of body piercing jewelry so that a person having their body pierced will automatically invite demons into their body. Many of the people performing tattoos will likewise have their work cursed.”

“…we are to live life as a new creature that is set apart as different from the world in lifestyle, faith and practice. We are to walk circumspectly and modestly, humbling ourselves–rather than look to ostentatious display wherein we look for ways to be adulated as the world does… Tattooing and body piercing (in the most basic, honest, definition) is the vain marking, cutting or self-mutilation of the human body for the express purpose of pretentious display, adulation or admiration. Basically, you want others to see this portrait that you’ve had placed upon yourself, that you may in some way glory in it. Is that a harsh evaluation? Of course, because the truth is a harsh and often bitter pill. Nevertheless, what other reason is there for these actions except to stand out, for adulation, for rebellion or for the lust of the eyes? Along with idolatry, these are the same reasons that the world had for doing these things to the body. Are we to honestly claim that we have different reasons? As is illustrated in 1st John 2:15-16, this is the way of the world, not of those who are supposed to be “set apart” or sanctified from the world for the service of God. We don’t need tattoos and body piercings to glory in, to attract converts, attention, to be prideful of, or to feel good about ourselves. We have the faith of Christ within us, the genesis of humility and selfless service.” http://www.mountainretreatorg.net/faq/should_christians_get_tattoos.shtml

We should honestly ask ourselves, “is tattooing ourselves and placing body piercings all over our body, glorifying to God?” If not, then why are we doing it? We are not our own and so we simply do not have the right to do anything we want with our life, our spirit or our body. It all belongs to God who purchased it. That is what many professing Christians (consciously and unconsciously) neglect. Again, would we paint graffiti on someone else’s building? It is interesting that in man’s justification of this behavior (his weakness) many professing Christians say that they should have the free will or catch all, “Christian liberty,” to do whatever they chose with their own body. Indeed this sounds perilously close to the justifications of those who support the so-called “right to choose” in the abortion rights issue. I’m not saying that people who want tattoos and body piercings are akin to abortionists, but I am saying that the carnal self-serving mindset is the same. It is one of narcissism where they desire what is their will, rather than have the love of God to desire what He wills for us. It is truly a lack of surrendering ourselves and our will fully to the will of God. We are living in the “Me Generation” where there is a marked and growing disdain for Godly selflessness, sacrifice and denial. As long as they can do whatever they want, they will joy in being Christ-like. However, if there are any restrictions, then they want no part of that kind of Christianity. This is so because all law is by nature judgmental, and that’s considered a violation of so-called Christian liberty. Yet there truly is no such Christian liberty that excuses Christians to do such things. It is a Christian myth that has been perpetrated upon the church for years.”
http://www.mountainretreatorg.net/faq/should_christians_get_tattoos.shtml

What happens if another new baby Christian sees another Christian with a tattoo, and then thinks he can do it too? That Christian would be partially responsible for this new baby believer getting more demons into their life! We need to be salt and light to others, as we draw them towards Christ. We are supposed to be known by our fruit. A tattoo upon our body is a form of fruit. And it is not from God, but from the evil one. Scripture tells us in Romans 14:21, (KJV): “It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.” If someone sees the tattoos and asks you about them, tell them that they are as sin to you, and not something for them to emulate.

Tattoos are a sign of being in the world and of the world. God has not said in His word that we are to do such a thing. Instead, it states that we are not to do it, because it is pagan. Those who are proud of their ‘Christian’ tattoos remind me of those who proudly celebrate Christmas and Easter. They claim they do so (and think it right in their own mind,) because whatever they do, they do in the name of Jesus. (They like to quote Colossians 2:16 in their defense, but God never called pagan practices ‘holy’, so this piece of scripture doesn’t fit.) Jesus never said that it was acceptable to worship Him like the pagans worship their gods. Some people in the Old Testament got into trouble because they tried to do that. Christian tattoos are no different. Jesus never said that we could go against Old Testament scripture and get a tattoo like the pagans do, as long as we do it in His name and for His glory!

It is heart-wrenching to run into someone who has tattoos but now wishes to undo them. http://www.biblebelievers.com/watkins_tattoos/regret.html states that “As many as 80 percent of people with tattoos regret their tattoo.” And it is very expensive to remove it! To remove a twenty five dollar tattoo can cost thousands of dollars. And no, insurance does not cover the procedure. I do find it interesting, that a laser light is what’s needed to remove one. Repeated shining of a very bright light onto that darkness is what it takes to erase them.

For those reading this post who have already gotten that tattoo, ask the Lord what He wants you to do about it. If He wants you to have it removed, then He will help you find the way and the money to have it done. If the tattoos are able to be covered with clothing, then cover them. Our family has noticed that the demons are way less able to affect others when they are covered and unseen.

I would try applying blessed olive oil to the tattoos, and blessing them in the name of Jesus, until they can be removed. Plead the blood of Jesus over them and over you as well. Demons HATE blessed olive oil, as it represents the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. (And we have seen and heard demons scream in pain when the Blood of Jesus hits them!)

When casting out the tattoo demons, I would cast out all demons that come to mind. If there is the slightest thought that it could have transferred to you, then cast it out in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You might want to look at the place and the person who gave you the tattoo for clues. Look at the problems that your tattoo artist had. For example, did he or she like to get drunk? Were they into pornography? Divorced? Whatever symbols that they worked with, would need to be cast out also, just in case they may have transferred themselves to you. Keep in mind, that the demons often lay dormant for years, before coming out to harass you. They can also use you as a conduit in order to transfer themselves to someone else. (For example, you may never know you had the demon of pornography in you, but suddenly your friend gets hit with those desires. The demon could have transferred itself from you to your friend.)

List of possible demons to cast out: skulls, bloodletting, tattooing, fire, shamanism, mysticism, roots, occult, paganism, demonism, baal, hell, cannibalism and vampirism, (especially if you seen your tattoo artist lick the blood that came from your tattooing,) serpent worship, death, priest-craft, magic, heathenism, sun worship, darkness, resentment, rebellion, witchcraft, deviancy, defiling, adultery, criminal, homosexuality, lesbianism, sexual perversion, alcoholism, drugs, violence, depression, sickness, regret, defile,, worldly, idolatry, pornography, hopelessness, anger, rage, self-righteousness, hate, un-forgiveness, satan, apathy. If your tattoo artist used specific names of the tattoo they were applying to your skin, then cast that particular name out as well.

There are some ministries out there, that are willing to help you remove the tattoo for free or at low cost. You might try doing a search on line to see if there are any in your area.

I had hoped to delay the posting of this topic, until we had met someone with tattoos that wanted to get rid of them. But sadly, as of this date, no one we know personally who has tattoos, believes that they could have any tattoo demons. They refuse to have them cast out in Jesus name. And they do not want to get rid of their tattoos. So, we are uncertain if the demons can be removed, with the tattoo still remaining. My guess is that they could at least be bound up in the name of Jesus, so they could not cause anyone any problems. I suspect that those tattoos of satanic origin (skulls, pentagrams, snakes, demons, etc.,) would act like a doorway for the demons to enter back in, simply because of their picturesque symbolism. Demons are attracted to those kinds of symbols. It is like a welcome mat to them.

The Lord is pressing me to share our family’s testimony concerning tattoos now, and to not wait any longer, for He has told me that the practice is increasing among His people, and that this is not His Will for His beloved children.

The other night, I had a horrible dream. I dreamed that I was trying to help out another believer, but she suddenly showed up with some kind of orange and white Indian tattoo over her body, and I found that I could no longer reach her. Whenever I got too close, the demons that were now in her through the tattoos, would come forth and physically shove me back. Meanwhile those demons took great satisfaction in torturing her. There was a sharp sense of horror and unreality, the kind that one goes through after a bad accident, when the mind screams ‘this is not happening to me!’ With tears streaming down both of our faces, the other believer and I kept wishing that we could turn back the hands of time, and stop her from getting the tattoo. I awoke from the dream with sorrow sitting upon my heart. I hesitated at first, to share this dream with you, for I was uncertain from whom the dream came from. But now I am sensing that I am to share it, for even if it was sent from the evil one in an effort to try and scare me and make me feel hopeless, (it didn’t work, for God’s Word is more powerful than any demon,) God proposes to use it for His glory, His kingdom, and His people.

Let us not be assimilated into the practices and customs of the world, but let us be a peculiar people set apart for Christ. (http://www.mountainretreatorg.net/faq/should_christians_get_tattoos.shtml)

“Now when the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came’; and when it comes, it finds it unoccupied, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. That is the way it will also be with this evil generation.” (Matthew 12:43-45)

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.” (1st Thessalonians 5:21-22)

“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” (James 4:4)

“Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.” (1 Corinthians 10:21)

“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”
(2 Corinthians 2:11)

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” (2 Corinthians 6:14-17)

“Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.” (Deuteronomy 14:1)

“And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. (Mark 5:1-9) (See also Luke 8:26-28)

“Ye that love the LORD, hate evil…” -Psalm 97:10

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” 1st John 2:16

“Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:12-14

“Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the Scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:3-6

“That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” Romans 8:4-7

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1st Corinthians 6:19-20

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20

“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.” 2nd Timothy 2:19-20

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” 1st John 2:15

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.” 1st Thessalonians 5:21-22

“Many are saying of me, “God will not deliver him.” “Selah” But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head. To the LORD I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill. “Selah” I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me. I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side.” Psalm 3:2-6

  1. Hi! I found this article very interesting because I got 2 tattoos before I was saved. They are actually Kabbalah symbols. One is on the back of my neck, the other on the base of my spine. Obviously the one on my back is covered all the time and the one on my neck most of the time. As I grew in faith and understanding of spiritual warfare, I realized I needed to repent, cast out the demons and seal the doors I opened with the blood of Jesus Christ. As far as I can tell this has been successful. I believe since I sincerely repented and cast out the related demons in the name of Jesus Christ, the Lord has honored that. I would like to get at least the one on my neck removed, not because of demons but because I hate the example it gives to people who see it. If it comes up in conversation I emphatically state that I am against tattlooing.

  2. Great post, thank you for sharing this. I’ve been searching for biblical help on this matter and now I have it. Going to share this with a loved one who is fascinated with the idea of getting a tattoo. Thanks again, God bless you!

    • Since “…the life of the body is in its blood…,” (Leviticus 17:11) there may very well be demons around donated blood, especially if the donor was an unbeliever, or a Christian who didn’t believe in casting out demons.

Our family has not noted any demonic attacks during bloody noses caused by too dry air. Menstruation I am uncertain about, for I was plagued for may years with bad cramps for the first few days of it. Others we have noted, did not experience attacks while menstruating. On childbirth, I do not know. I know that demons can be passed from mother to child, but on the birth process itself, I would guess that it would not, for it is the way God made us. We have noticed that the difference, is when the skin is traumatically broken, such as in a car accident, or from the purpose of sinning, such as tattoos. You ask some good questions, that helped clarify my opening statement. Thank you!

      • Thank you for your clarification! Your posts are always eye opening to me. Unique are your posts comparing to many others. Blessings to you! I’ve learnt a lot from you and you’ve blessed me much! Much love 🙂

        • And a big hug back to you Bride Of Yahushua! Thank you for the very encouraging message. I got it right when I needed it!

I am hoping that once we get into heaven, we can give each other a big hug in person!

Till then. May Yahushua bless you greatly, and keep you in the palm of His hand…

          • HUGS!!! 🙂 have a day of rainbows and sparkles! I can’t wait to hug you in heaven very soon. Thank you! May His divine love and peace cover you always in Yahushua’s name amen. I’m glad I can comfort you precious beloved of God!

        • Sadly, yes.

I underwent surgery not too long ago, and knew that I could be attacked as soon as the needle entered the skin. But I asked before hand for the Lord to please send His angels to surround me during the surgery, and the peace that came from seeing them surrounding me was a big relief. It was a minor surgery, and just a few stitches were needed, but it was still wonderful to know that the Lord protected me so even for such a minor thing. (He told me it was His will for me to have the surgery, which is something that confused me, for I do not have great faith in doctors, and would prefer to just have the Lord do all the healing by Himself.) Surprisingly, when I took the pain medication afterwards, I was very attacked by demons. But even then, the Lord simply told me to keep calling out His name whenever they attacked (with their panic and demonic shadows,) and as the stuff wore off, the attacks left. After that, the Lord helped me to deal with the pain without the pain pills.

Others have reported that when they go in for surgery, and especially when one has to go under, demons can attack. So it is always helpful to pray before hand for His protection of angels, and to cast any demons out afterwards, if anything odd is sensed, or if the Holy Spirit indicates it.

          • Thank you for your precious respond! I was surprised to know that God wants you to undergo surgery when He can heal you supernaturally. But I know His ways are always higher than our ways. It’s not good for the clay to question God our potter. Yes, I also agree that prayers definitely helps. But it’s a sad reality that surgeries can open doors. Blessings to you dear one!

            • He had me remove an old dead tooth that had fractured at its base and had become infected. It had a root canal way back when I didn’t realize how God can heal you. He has already saved me from some cavities and a root canal, just from praying and claiming healing in His perfect name. But this one was left over from the old days, and I sensed from the Lord that it had to be removed. He has told me that there is nothing stopping Him from one day creating a whole new tooth to replace the old one…

If you are ever scheduled for surgery, pray before hand and claim that God’s angels wold protect you. It sure worked for me!

              Blessings,
              C. Dunamis

    • Or inoculations…like getting vaccines. I believe they have caused many problems in children, such as autism, but the world seems to insist on them. Do you think the autism is a demon derived from the vaccine? Thank you.

      • Yes, I believe autism is caused by a demon. I do not know if the demon stays in the person, or if it did the damage and has moved on…

When I was staying with that Jehovahs Witness family during the forest fire, I was witnessing to them about Jesus. (I didn’t know I was doing this at the time. I simply answered her questions best I could.) The Lord Jesus told me that I could have healed their autistic son (autistic from a vaccine,) if they had believed. But alas, they refused to believe, so the son was left autistic.

  3. I just so happens that last night the Lord led me to write an article on Satanic Trends. Amazing how all things are in control! All things…even these kinds of things. Sounds backwards but all things happen for a reason. GOD Bless you. Great article! Love, V

  6. I read a blog recently where the lady (who is a pastor) wrote that the Lord told her to get another tattoo. I couldn’t believe it. I can see why an unbeliever would get a tattoo, but a Christian pastor? Talk about being conformed to the world!

What if I said that the Lord told me to have sex with a prostitute? Would you believe me? I hope not!

    Here is some on tattoos:

    • Wow! I bet it was tempting to reply to her blog and ask her that very question!

I do not think it was God that told her to get one. That is definitely a big thing I have learned about hearing from God. The message will NEVER go against His written Word!

  8. I have a question. If bloodletting invites demons, then surgery (cutting the flesh open) must also, as this sheds blood. How about scratching a mosquito bite and it bleeds?

    • Hi Terry,

Yes, those who have gone under the knife have reported new demons troubling them after they wake up. SO it is good to cast any out after surgery, just in case.

I have not heard of any coming from a bleeding mosquito bite, through I have noticed a few if it is so bad that you’re dripping blood everywhere. With a bloody nose, we have not noticed any, if the cause is simply dry air. But if the bleeding does not stop, (which is a sign of demons,) or if the bloody nose was caused by someone hitting you in a moment of violence, then yes, demons are attracted to it.

Please remember though, as believers we have the power to simply cast them out from us and our loved ones, and we can even bind them up in others so they do not trouble us.

“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.”
      Luke 10:19-20

  9. Thank you for this article. It is very interesting. I was sent a link to it from a viewer on my YouTube channel who saw one of my tattoos. I was saved 2.5 years ago, and before that I got a few tattoos. I regretted all of them immediately. Well, maybe not the pentagram that I got while a practicing witch. That one I was quite proud of for awhile.
I have been thinking of writing about tattoos and why Christians shouldn’t get them for awhile. I know quite a bit of Christians who love their “Christian” tattoos. I have not been able to find the kind of information I want about the history of tattoos though. I am not sure that I have demons in my tattoos anymore, as I have gone through an intense deliverance a few months ago. I will be praying about it though 🙂 I have asked God about getting rid of my pentagram tattoo and so far it’s a no. So we shall see. I have a half sleeve tattoo, and I can’t imagine how much it would cost to get rid of that one! I would love too! I have so many people complimenting me on it, and I have no idea what to say! I hate it! I just keep praying I can glorify God the next time someone asks about one.
I pray that this article can reach many Christians and help them to see the deception they are being led into by tattoos.

  10. So, I am a mother who has 2 tattoos, I very much regret them. One says one love (it was for my son, he was the only love I had) another a baby angel, sleeping. One on each wrist. I also was a cutter when I was younger. I cut my thighs, so no one could see them. My question is how do I remove the demons i guess. You say casting out from tattoos, but what about self mutilation? The same? I regret cutting, but the demon still try to entice me. I won’t be how do I rid of it.
How do I keep it away from my children.

    • Dear Momma B,

Casting out demons is the same, no matter which demons they are, if from cutting or piercing the skin for a tattoo. I have seen and witnessed the demon of cutting and self mutilation. It is filled with insolence and a great desire to cut up human flesh. It is not one to play around with, for it is closely related to the demon of suicide. First, bind it up in the name of Jesus, then cast it out in the name of Jesus. Do the same with the demons of self mutilation, destruction, suicide, and any other that the Holy Spirit tells you to. Be firm with them, and tell them that they must go.

If they still trouble you, I would go back to the deliverance pages on the web site, and clean house and land. Then I would ask the Lord Jesus to guide you in removing any curses upon you. (Look for Glynda’s links on the self-deliverance page.)

I pray that the Lord Jesus would guide you into your freedom, and give you His goodness and mercy and peace!

  11. I HAVE TWO TATTOOS AND LIFE HAS NOT BEING GOING SMOOTH BUT I DID THIS WHEN I WAS YOUNG I WISH I COULD HAVE FOUND SUCH AN ARTICLE.BUT NOW I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO I FEEL LIKE MY TATTOOS HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH MY MISFORTUNES PLEASE HELP

    • Oh Joseph!

My heart goes out to you! I have heard that there are ministries out there, that help those with tattoos to remove them. I would search them out and give them a try.

I have, since writing the article on tattoos, come to know a man with a tattoo on his hand. He got it when he was young. It is a sign that marked him as a member of a dangerous gang. What struck me, was that I experienced none of the usual demonic attacks from being near it, but instead, sensed an emptiness there, like it was once evil, but was no longer. This man is a strong Christian, and lives every day for the Lord. I sense that his daily walk with Jesus, is what finally chased that evil away. So do not give up! Spend time with Jesus daily, and ask Him what you should do about them. Keep petitioning Him until you receive your answer. (And then keep spending time with Him, of course.)

      • Jesus is stronger than nay demon or curse. If you have repented about tattoos then you can be set free. Even if the tattoos don’t get physically removed, if your heart has repented of them before God, i believe you are not under a curse any more as your sin has been paid for and you are forgiven. you just need to accept that forgiveness and realise God sees you as righteous through His son Jesus.

        • When Jesus forgives the sin, it is forgiven.

However, the results from the sin does not automatically go away! Even in the bible, there have been consequences from sin that were not removed, even after that sin was forgiven. (I think of David and Bathsheba, for example. But there are others.)

I have found that it also depends upon the kind of tattoo. Non-satanic ones are more easily overcome, and the demons can be cast out in Jesus name more easily. But the satanic ones (like a skull and cross bones, for example,) tend to re-attract demons to that person with that tattoo.

I can not speak for the one who has such a tattoo, if their life is still affected by demons because of the tattoo, but I can speak for myself, in meeting up with such a person. I have found that when the person covers up the satanic tattoos, they do not reach out to attack me. If the person with the satanic tattoos has not repented, then even covering them up does not help, especially if they are a practicing satanist!

I can appreciate your anger towards me in defense of the forgiveness that comes from almighty God. Yet this post is not talking about loosing one’s salvation or forgiveness because of a tattoo. It is talking about preventing possible future demonic harassment to believers that are out there, who are thinking about getting a tattoo. Forgiveness and the salvation of one’s soul is a completely different matter than being troubled and attacked by demons. Many believers get attacked by demons; this is a part of the spiritual war that we are in. Closing those doors (or keeping them closed,) that let them in, is the goal of this post!

Ephesians 6:12 “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”

  12. I always enjoy a post that is so well researched and presented. Before I decided to take the plunge and get my tattoo I had put many hours of contemplation, self-meditation, study and prayer. The symbol I decided on is one meaningful to my wife and I. It’s location is easily covered up by clothing, but is exposed when I remove my shirt.

Since getting it I have not had a shred of doubt that my decision was good, mostly because during my prayer I retain a certain happiness about it. There have been times when I’ve prayed on a decision and God has sent me ill feelings over one path or the other, never have I failed in the decisions God has helped me in, though of course the some of the ones he left me to my own devices came back to bite me.

I guess I’m asking, in your opinion, why would God not send me bad feelings or doubt on such a decision? I’ve never asked forgiveness for anything unless I feel in my heart I’ve needed too. It’s not a matter of pride but more a matter of my personal relationship with God.

On a side note, I really love the way you worded this article in such a way that doesn’t condemn and belittle someone who has decided to get a tattoo. In my research on the subject I came across several people that have not learned preaching condemnation over love only pushes people away from the word of God.

    • The best way I know of to explain it, is a testimony of my own.

I was given a book as a gift many years ago. It was foreign to me, and I wondered if it was from a false religion. I prayed over it quite a bit, for it confused me. Whenever I went to open it up to read it, I would get attacked with negative feelings. It was much easier to ignore the book all together. And for many years, this is exactly what I did. When I mentioned it to another Christian, (she had so much fruit in her life that I was in awe of her,) she immediately let me know that it was satan that was giving me those peaceful feelings when I was ignoring it, and then negative feelings when I began to read it.

So together, we sat down and began to read it. The feelings did not hit me then, and afterwards I was able to brush off those feelings and continue reading on my own. I was able to then see, that it was indeed satan who had tried to get me to stop reading the book.

I’m sure you have guessed by now just what the book was. It was the bible.

From that point on, I learned not to trust my emotions in these kinds of matters, for I knew that satan is a master of manipulation, and is able to affect even believers. I could not let my emotions dictate my beliefs. God’s Word had to be the one to do that. If God’s Word says not to do it, then I work at not doing it.

      • I had a similar experience with the Bible- oh, i wqas brought up Christian so i knew the Bible must be good but i had a lot of fear and trauma linked to my upbringing (abuse in my christian home) and i felt scared to read the bible. Now i realise Satan is using my feelings to lie to me by making me feel bad when readimg it and happy when i don’t. I hate Satan. he is a liar

  13. My husband did his first tatoo in December 2015 in secret as he knew I don’t like tatoos. Just 2 weeks prior his mother who absolutely hates tatoos gave him a warning if he did it. He would loose his marriage his health finances everything. Well, as soon as I found out, I had my first panic attack and he went on top of me and started to chocked me. He then just continue getting more. Panic attacks became stronger. As, I could feel something was not right. Nightmares constantly. Then, I found out he was having affairs with multiple woman. With one of them he has a matching tatoos. A broken heart with thorns. I have filed for divorce exactly a year later after his first tatoo. 2 months now. He said he doesn’t know why he has changed. The evil has him so blinded. His mother still doesn’t know about it as he goes covered. I am broken hearted. I have been praying and fasting for his salvation even though I gave up on our marriage. I truly believe that my mother in law in a way cursed us even though she was trying to scare him. But he was 42 years old and I think she should have talked to him differently. I have not found the courage to tell her the true. And he just doesn’t believe tattoos are bad as he was always point others in church with tattoos. I don’t like it and after ready your post I believe you. Since, he left home 2 months ago I no longer have nightmares. I do have to take medicine for the panic attacks. Pray for me and may God open his eyes. One day I told him ,that he would look at the mirror and see and feel my tears and suffer on those tattoos. He just ignored me.

    • Oh Susie! I am so sorry to hear this! The loss of a marriage is very painful…

Yes I agree; sadly his mother did curse him with that warning. It gave the jinx demon something to write down about him, and put into effect, once he did get the tattoos. Most Christians are unaware of the power of their words. And they certainly don’t want to hear about it after the fact! (Most people don’t want to be responsible for their actions.) The only benefit in letting her know, is if she would be willing to take back those words.

You too, can claim things over his life in Jesus name. When you are near him, bind up his demons in Jesus name. (Not sure if casting them out will make it worse or not; if he likes them, they would only return to him with seven more worse than the first. – Matthew 12:45)

Those panic attacks sound like you got demons of panic from him when he tried to choke you. (You might want to take back your claim that you have to take meds for it. Start claiming that you will no longer need them.) You can cast them out in Jesus name! Every time you feel that spirit of panic attack you, say “No!”, and cast it out in Jesus name, and than say to it that it is no longer welcome to trouble you. Tell it to go to a dry place and trouble you no more! (Luke 11:24) I know how awful it is to be hit with them. But if you keep casting them out and denying them, they have to leave! (James 4:7)

Jesus, please be with Susie, and set her free from the evil spirits of panic! Return to her all that satan has taken from her! I ask that you bless her greatly in Your name!

  14. I have the all seeing eye at the Base of my neck and a pentagram on my wrist! I had little understanding of what they represented when I had them done and liked the idea of them being protection symbols.
I have recently become a christian and am deeply upset about having these on my body! 🙁

  15. This is crazy. “We can see demons hanging around it”…you have lost your mind, I’m a Christian but I mean c’mon let’s be real…lol

    • You may call yourself a Christian but you are not! The fruit of your comment reveals this. Real Christians do not mock or scoff at other believers who have been given the gift of spiritual discernment. Real believers build one another up in Christ, not tear them down.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up…”

1 Corinthians 12:4–11 says: “4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but uthe same Spirit; 5 and vthere are varieties of service, but uthe same Lord; 6 and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. 7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 8 For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of xwisdom, and to another the utterance of yknowledge according to the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually has he wills.”

Matthew 7:16-20 (KJV) “16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

The Lord Jesus has warned me about people such as yourself:

2 Peter 3:3 “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts…” and 2 Timothy 3:1-5 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Turn back to the Lord and become a REAL Christian!
Proverbs 28:13 – “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh [them] shall have mercy.”

  16. Thanks for your post, it really encorages me!
I know this is an old post but it’s so important for the Body to know! I’m glad to come across a believer who understands the dangers of tattoos and pagan holidays as well, as there are few today lol. The biggest mistake I made in my life was to get a piercing and tattoo… I was influenced by peers and an immature Christian friend although in my Spirit I had checks all the time. I wish I exited the tattoo parlour that day. Oh well… I have finally started the expensive process of laser removal and that is the best investment of my life! I sense deliverance and freedom as my tattoo is fading praise God! The oppression is lifting and I see more answered prayers. Thank God I found a person who got the newest and best laser too. I will be writing up my testimony soon as I want to warn more people. Although I experience blessings and favour in my spiritual life I sensed a shift immediately after the tattoo. You truly get marked spiritually and start attracting things not of God. You may be saved and serving God but your tattoo tells otherwise. It’s an identification mark for demons I believe. I’ve experienced enough from this to know it’s not just regular warfare… God told me over and over again that it’s the tattoo that is causing all these strange things and that I needed to remove it. Anointing oil was not enough. Stalking, monitoring spirits and abusive spirits have been drawn towards me as well as depression-and I knew this was not normal. I’m a fairly sensitive person spiritually but this was more than discernment or a word of knowledge about someone. I believe there can be soul ties with the tattoo artist too. So my advice would be to get it removed no matter what. Your soul is more important than some ink! There is a reason why God doesn’t want us to cut our bodies. I’m feeling better and more like I was before the tattoo every day. Your tattoo affects not just you but the people you come in contact with, especially the weak, frail and elderly too so be considerate. It would set a bad example too to other believers. So just thank you for the post once again!

  17. Hello,

If i get a Tattoo removed, will it help break any pack with demons i might of made will getting the tattoo. I was a Christian when I got the tattoo

    Best regards,

    Manny

    • Hi Manny,

Unfortunately it is the act of breaking the skin and then marking it with dye that is the problem. So doing the same thing to change the image may not be the best thing to do. If the image is a satanic one, then personally I would remove it because the image itself could be creating re-occurring problems. But it doesn’t sound like that is the case, as you were a believer when you got it.
If there was a way to remove it or lighten it without the use of needles or bloodletting, then I would look into that. But otherwise, I would cast out in Jesus name any demons that entered into you through the tattoo process and leave it at that.
May the Lord lead you and bless you greatly,
      C. Dunamis

  18. I found after a recent procedure I could talk to an identity. I’m unsure at this time and I can’t be certain of their benevolence. Might you describe how you deciphered your communications? So that I understand who I am talking to.

    • Hello Cleo,
Ask the spirit to repeat this: “Jesus Christ has come into the flesh.” If it won’t, you have your answer.
      1 John 4:3
“And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

      King James Version (KJV)
