A Miracle: I Could Breathe

(Note: This took place some years ago, before I understood about claiming. Now, I no longer get a cold or the flu.)

I had a horrible cold. It had entered into my lungs and made breathing difficult. Even all the over-the-counter medicines could not seem to make a dent in it.

One night during the worst of it, I was startled awake to see one of my angels, sitting at the base of the bed. I lay there, not quite awake, starring at her.

I had seen this angel before, concerning a healing. I think of her as a she because of her petite body, fine long hair, and soft voice, but please know; angels don’t have a sex. She says her name is spelled “Ade”, though it is pronounced “Aid”.

“Do not breathe in deep!” she instructed me.

I then realized that I had stopped breathing.

Of course, the moment she said not to do this, I wanted to.

She then told me to take very small breaths, almost like panting, till my lungs opened back up.

It was hard; I wanted to pull in the air quickly, for I was starting to feel a bit faint from the lack of it, but I did as Ade instructed. I could feel the resistance; my lungs had glued together while I slept. Panic attacked me. Slowly, my lungs peeled back open bit by bit, till I was able to get an average breath in. I then started coughing up all the mucus that was in my way, till I could breathe freely again.

When I finished my hacking, I looked back at the foot of the bed to see if the angel was still there, but she had already left. I knew the Lord had just saved me from certain death; if I had tried to breathe in as normal, I would have found that I could not, and I would have tried to force it, which would have caused my lungs to lock up and freeze shut.

I Thank You Jesus Christ for saving me!

Hanukkah is a time when we share the miracles which the Lord Jesus Christ and the Father have done in our lives. This little miracle is one of them.

May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you greatly with your own miracles,

  1. Judges 13
17 – And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour?
18 – And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?

    • Ah, but this angel never said its name was a secret.

(There are times in the bible, when an angel’s name is given.)

I believe the name was shared with me, to show that there is a difference between man’s ‘aid’, and God’s healing power…
