A Miracle: My Son Walked Away From The Car Accident

One of my boys was driving home from college one evening. It was in the middle of winter, and it was a cold night.

He was coming around a sharp bend in the road, when he suddenly hit a patch of black ice and went sailing. The car hit the embankment, rolled over and went up into the sky. It landed upside down, just a foot or so away from the base of a huge fat oak tree.

There was a bar near by the accident, and the owners rushed out to see if they could help, for they had heard the crash.

But my son was already climbing out of the automobile on his own.

He called us to come and get him.

When we got there, I embraced him and asked him if he was o.k.. He told me that right as he hit the patch of ice, an angel appeared to him in the car in the passenger seat, and told him to hold onto the steering wheel. As he held on, the angel shielded him from the shards of glass and pushed the top of the car up where my son sat.

We looked at the car and knew right away that it was totaled. It had flattened out except for where he had sat, and all the windows were busted. One could tell that the suspension was shot. No one would ever be driving this car again. I looked at the small area from where my son had crawled out from, and wondered how he had squeezed through such a small opening without a scratch. He ended up walking away from that accident with just a few bruises in his shoulders.

If the car had gone in a straight line as one would have expected, it would have landed in the river where my son might have drowned. But for some reason, the car curved just enough to stay on dry land.

Thank You Jesus Christ of Nazareth for saving my son!

We learned later, that this place has had many other accidents, some fatal, from cars hitting the black ice from the river in the winter time. People have asked the county to put a warning sign there, or at least to slow down the speed allotment for the curve but so far they have refused.

During these days of Hanukkah, also known as the festival of lights, we recount the miracles that our Lord and Savior has done for us on our behalf. This was one of them.

May the Lord keep you in the palm of His mighty hand,

He Too, Had the Same Dream

(See previous post for beginning.)

Another dream that same night…

I was a young woman, a believer, getting together with a group of friends to eat at a local restaurant. There was about six or so of us, sitting around the table, when another believer, a good friend of mine, leaned over towards me and asked me what was wrong. I thought of saying “nothing”, but knew this particular friend would not accept it for an answer. So in hushed tones, I told him about the horrible nightmare I had had the night before. I had dreamed that a nuclear bomb had gone off in the city. I witnessed those trying to escape it, and watched some of them die trying. It was so horrible that I hated to even mention it to anyone, it was that bad.

As I was telling my friend this, I watched as serious grief filled his eyes, and I then sensed what he was going to say, but hoped above all that he would not.

But he did. He waited till I had finished telling him about the dream, and then after a moment of silence, he told me that he too, had had the very same dream last night.

I couldn’t help it; I screamed out loud “no!”, causing everyone in the restaurant to turn and stare at me. I began to cry. The friends at my table wanted to know what I was so upset about, so I told them about the dream, and that my friend had had the same one on the same night. I knew that my friend understood what this meant; it meant that it would indeed happen one day, and that it was a warning that we had been given, so that we could prepare for it. He nodded in agreement with my words, but the other people with us thought we were crazy and over-reacting. One even tried to make a joke out of it. None of them besides my Christian friend, took me seriously.

I left that restaurant, with my heart aching for my friends, for I knew that they would not be ready when it happened.

Me and the other believing friend of mine decided to work together to prepare for what was coming. We left the city and began to gather up the supplies we thought we might need. But before we had finished getting everything we wanted, (though we had everything we needed,) the bomb went off.

Just as we had seen in our dreams, those who were still alive after the blast began walking away from the epicenter, some dropping as they walked. They were in a daze, and unable to think clearly. We watched as one woman broke into a gas station’s bathroom to steal the cheap toilet paper that was in it. She held it to her chest and acted as if it was gold.

I then woke up.

What I have learned from these two dreams, is that:

  1. Jesus can indeed save His children from the radiation of a nuclear bomb.
  2. If a nuclear bomb will go off, a warning dream of the impending bomb will be given out to many of His children, to help warn them so they can prepare for it before hand.
  3. If it will happen, it will happen in a city that is flat, and not nestled in between hills.
  4. There were other safe places to go to; not all cities were hit with a bomb.

Jesus Could Save Them From the Radiation

A dream…

The dream began with a nuclear bomb of some kind suddenly going off. The bomb was many miles away from where I, (a young female adult believer,) stood. The area was very flat, with no hills around it to hide the city from view, so I could see the mushroom cloud quite clearly. The earth shook and trembled under its force, and I had to steady myself lest I fall. This explosion was not the white fluffy mushroom ones I had seen before on television; it was black and the mushroom part was deeply red colored instead. The sky was dark, though from the time of day or night or the bomb itself, I could not tell for sure. (I sensed it was night time.) The earth roiled and changed colors like smoldering coals in a fire, first charring everything black, then suddenly blowing back to life with red hot fire, before returning to the black color once again. This red fire rippled outwards like a pebble thrown in a pond, till the end of its reach left spots of black char among the untouched ground.

Then from among this vision, came a person, walking away from the bomb blast. She was followed by others, trickling in, trying to get as far away from the blast as they could. Some dropped and died as they walked, while the survivors kept walking, wanting so very badly to get as far away from it as possible, despite knowing that for them it was probably too late and that they also would end up dead.

God’s people reacted totally different to the devastation; they had the attitude that as they were not dead yet, they would keep serving and following God till they no longer could. Those Christians whose faith was weak, succumbed to the radiation and died. Those who believed that Jesus could save them from the radiation survived with no side effects from the radiation. It was as if they were somehow immune to it.

These Christian survivors tried to witness to others, and the way these believers remained in good health was a visual reminder of a miracle that could be theirs too, if they came to Christ. There were a few who turned to Christ and were saved, (from both the radiation and from hell,) but most turned away from the good news and died, for they simply could not bring themselves to believe in such a miracle or in the God that gave it to His children.

My heart ached to see those people die without Christ.

Farther out from the blast, people were panicking, and running to the stores to buy provisions. I found myself outside a Target store, looking at the long lines of people waiting for their turn to get in. Target employees were trying to keep the people in line and orderly. Many people were buying odd stuff, like masses of paper towels, that would not be of much use to them over the long haul. You could only buy as much as you could carry, for cars and other motorized transportation was not working. Walking was the only way to get from place to place.

You could tell who were the real believers and who were not, simply by the look on their faces. Those who were believers in Jesus Christ, had positive thoughts, and this was reflected outwards towards others. There was a peace about them that stood out from all the chaos around them. Those who were not believers were in shock, and walked around as if in a daze, unable to think clearly.

I was not able to tell how the people buying the stuff payed for it, or if it was simply given away to them. You still had to wait in long lines to check out your items, but even the watches on peoples arms had stopped working, so I did not know what other kind of mechanics had been left in working condition, to charge the people.

I woke up and felt both sad and hopeful over the dream. Sad that such a thing had happened, yet hopeful having witnessed the believers being immune to the radiation. I wondered if this was a warning dream, and I wondered if it might actually happen one day. I wondered if in the future I would get another dream to confirm this one.

I then went back to sleep.
