A Miracle: My Son Walked Away From The Car Accident

One of my boys was driving home from college one evening. It was in the middle of winter, and it was a cold night.

He was coming around a sharp bend in the road, when he suddenly hit a patch of black ice and went sailing. The car hit the embankment, rolled over and went up into the sky. It landed upside down, just a foot or so away from the base of a huge fat oak tree.

There was a bar near by the accident, and the owners rushed out to see if they could help, for they had heard the crash.

But my son was already climbing out of the automobile on his own.

He called us to come and get him.

When we got there, I embraced him and asked him if he was o.k.. He told me that right as he hit the patch of ice, an angel appeared to him in the car in the passenger seat, and told him to hold onto the steering wheel. As he held on, the angel shielded him from the shards of glass and pushed the top of the car up where my son sat.

We looked at the car and knew right away that it was totaled. It had flattened out except for where he had sat, and all the windows were busted. One could tell that the suspension was shot. No one would ever be driving this car again. I looked at the small area from where my son had crawled out from, and wondered how he had squeezed through such a small opening without a scratch. He ended up walking away from that accident with just a few bruises in his shoulders.

If the car had gone in a straight line as one would have expected, it would have landed in the river where my son might have drowned. But for some reason, the car curved just enough to stay on dry land.

Thank You Jesus Christ of Nazareth for saving my son!

We learned later, that this place has had many other accidents, some fatal, from cars hitting the black ice from the river in the winter time. People have asked the county to put a warning sign there, or at least to slow down the speed allotment for the curve but so far they have refused.

During these days of Hanukkah, also known as the festival of lights, we recount the miracles that our Lord and Savior has done for us on our behalf. This was one of them.

May the Lord keep you in the palm of His mighty hand,

Still Here

It has been hard, going through all of this. Since my last post, I have been hit with many attacks, physical, spiritual, and emotional. I thought for sure it was the demon of diabetes, but the tests came back negative. The Great Physician diagnosed me with inflammation instead. I am claiming my healing. Please keep praying for me.

When starting this blog, I had promised the Lord that I would try to at least do one post a month. But during these illnesses, satan managed to pull me from my promise and my purpose.

The first yank came when I went on line to answer comments. I found so many that were so negative, that it was disheartening.

I’ve had my share of nasty comments (usually from unbelievers, wiccans, and satanists,) to the point that they no longer trouble me. I don’t even read their comments anymore; I return to them unopened spiritually whatever they send to me, and then delete their comments.

No, what hit me, were all the comments from other believers. All I had asked for, on my last two posts, was for prayer. Yet by far, the majority of the comments made by other believer’s, were ones of condemnation or unbelief. They wanted to know what I would do if I wasn’t healed. Some wanted to know what horrible sin I had done to receive such judgement from God. Others believed that it was God’s Will for me to suffer, and that I should just accept it. I was dumbfounded at their beliefs. Haven’t they read the book of Job? Have they forgotten all the scriptures that state God’s wonderful Will for His children? Didn’t they read the New Testament where it shows that Jesus didn’t turn people away who had sought him out for help, by stating that nope, sorry, but it was the will of the Father for them to remain sick?

There were other comments such as these, that satan tried to use to instill doubt within me. I struggled to clung to the scriptures. My favorite is Jeremiah 29:11: “I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future.” When wondering what was from satan or not, the scripture John 10:10 pointed it out clearly: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Trying to kill my faith, steal my vision, and destroy my mobility with a stroke was obviously from satan and not my God!

The second pull was satan whispering in my ear, telling me that I no longer held the right to blog, for I was no longer standing in victory. It was probably best to wait till I had complete victory over all my illnesses before posting again.

Then lastly, I began to doubt just how much good the blog was doing for the kingdom of God.

So I decided to give it up. I shut down the computer and crawled away.

But the Lord Jesus, in all His mercy, reminded me of a dream I had long ago…

“Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? (Matthew 7: 7-11 KJV)

He Too, Had the Same Dream

(See previous post for beginning.)

Another dream that same night…

I was a young woman, a believer, getting together with a group of friends to eat at a local restaurant. There was about six or so of us, sitting around the table, when another believer, a good friend of mine, leaned over towards me and asked me what was wrong. I thought of saying “nothing”, but knew this particular friend would not accept it for an answer. So in hushed tones, I told him about the horrible nightmare I had had the night before. I had dreamed that a nuclear bomb had gone off in the city. I witnessed those trying to escape it, and watched some of them die trying. It was so horrible that I hated to even mention it to anyone, it was that bad.

As I was telling my friend this, I watched as serious grief filled his eyes, and I then sensed what he was going to say, but hoped above all that he would not.

But he did. He waited till I had finished telling him about the dream, and then after a moment of silence, he told me that he too, had had the very same dream last night.

I couldn’t help it; I screamed out loud “no!”, causing everyone in the restaurant to turn and stare at me. I began to cry. The friends at my table wanted to know what I was so upset about, so I told them about the dream, and that my friend had had the same one on the same night. I knew that my friend understood what this meant; it meant that it would indeed happen one day, and that it was a warning that we had been given, so that we could prepare for it. He nodded in agreement with my words, but the other people with us thought we were crazy and over-reacting. One even tried to make a joke out of it. None of them besides my Christian friend, took me seriously.

I left that restaurant, with my heart aching for my friends, for I knew that they would not be ready when it happened.

Me and the other believing friend of mine decided to work together to prepare for what was coming. We left the city and began to gather up the supplies we thought we might need. But before we had finished getting everything we wanted, (though we had everything we needed,) the bomb went off.

Just as we had seen in our dreams, those who were still alive after the blast began walking away from the epicenter, some dropping as they walked. They were in a daze, and unable to think clearly. We watched as one woman broke into a gas station’s bathroom to steal the cheap toilet paper that was in it. She held it to her chest and acted as if it was gold.

I then woke up.

What I have learned from these two dreams, is that:

  1. Jesus can indeed save His children from the radiation of a nuclear bomb.
  2. If a nuclear bomb will go off, a warning dream of the impending bomb will be given out to many of His children, to help warn them so they can prepare for it before hand.
  3. If it will happen, it will happen in a city that is flat, and not nestled in between hills.
  4. There were other safe places to go to; not all cities were hit with a bomb.
